One More Time, Overlord

"General Murphy Count's armored formation is advancing towards the main hive at 20 miles per hour, flanked by Protoss Archon Fenix's Dragoon forces and the UED's Atlas Wing."

Chief of Staff General Charles was hunched over the Holographic Projection projected tactical platform, sweat beading on his unkempt face.

"Once we establish a foothold near the hives of the Tiamat, Baelrog, and Surtur Brood, we can immediately begin deploying Swann's fifth-generation ' Big Bill ' Psi Disrupter."

"Big Bill" is an upgraded version of the Brainwave Bill Psi Disrupter. Rory Swann drew inspiration from the Revolutionary Army's Umojan and Protoss allies, significantly increasing the device's energy output.

Swann himself believes that the Terran Confederacy's jammer version will not be able to catch up with his even 30 years from now.

In other words, the reason DuGalle wanted to ally with Raynor's Revolutionary Army was because of the Psi Disrupter they possessed.

"Under the influence of the Psi Disrupter, the Cerebrate are unable to effectively command their colony members. This gives us an opportunity to create an opening and achieve a breakthrough!"

"How are the tank losses?" Raynor asked, standing opposite Char.

At this moment, the command vehicle carrying Raynor and Charles was following a tank battalion through the left flank of the UED Kronos Wing. A Psi Disrupter was deployed nearby, so the number of Zerg was much smaller than in other areas.

Raynor's unit followed closely behind the armored forces, a position too far forward for the commander of an entire expeditionary force. The United Earth Directorate Expeditionary Fleet was still using the old-fashioned combat strategy: first, launch a bombardment with Fleets, aircraft, and artillery, and then send in ground troops. If the Confederacy's Psi Disrupter were as effective as the scientists had predicted, this tactic would undoubtedly work.

However, the UED did not have any advantage in high orbit. The Char Swarm, with its Great Fleet consisting of dozens of Leviathan, a large number of Behemoth, and billions of flying units, simultaneously suppressed the Daelaam, Revolutionary Army, and UED Fleets.

This only accounts for the number on orbit.

If the UED cannot kill or control the Overmind, they will be completely wiped out in Char.

"I can't believe insects would burrow in a place like this," Charles continued.

"However, General Kant is an expert in armored warfare and commands our most elite armored forces. With the assistance of the Protoss and UED, breaking into the main hive area should not be a problem."

Murphy Cont belongs to a small Old Families in Tarsonis. This family has served in the military of the Terran Confederacy for more than 10 generations, but has always been small in number and not particularly powerful.

In the Terran Confederacy, the main rival of the Conte family is the Duke Family, with whom they have never really clashed.

Sometime during the Contact War in 2490, Murphy Contour left his family and joined Augustus's Revolutionary Army. "Kant's task is to get as close as possible to the Zerg hive to deploy the Psi Disrupter; there's no need for him to rush into making a big contribution."

During the most difficult times for the Revolutionary Army, capturing a few old tanks was enough to make the soldiers ecstatic. Even though some of the Revolutionary Army's planets had heavy factories capable of manufacturing tanks, it was still a painful blow to Raynor, who was used to hardship.

The Revolutionary Army now possesses over 8,000 tanks of various types, a large portion of which were captured from the Confederacy, with the remainder originating from Umojan and Kel-Morian.

At this moment, on the tactical map in front of Raynor, the arrow of the KONT armored group continued to advance, and its front-line troops had already penetrated deep into the heart of the main base area.

Even Sergeant Bama Kowalski could hardly remember when she joined the Revolutionary Army; in any case, she had already participated in most of the Revolutionary Army's wars in the Koprulu Sector as an Arclite Siege Tank driver.

Bama Kowalski is a legendary Arclite Siege Tank driver with a record of destroying Confederacy tanks multiple times. Her most famous feat was single-handedly taking down a terrifying Ultralisk in the Red Wasteland of Antiga.

In the beginning, the old-style Siege Tank were larger and heavier than the current models, and could carry three crew members. Back then, Bama, as the gunner, would always argue with her commander; now she drives her own Siege Tank alone.

Nevertheless, Sergeant Bama remains a tank driver to this day because she has caused as much trouble as she has killed enemies.

"Ignore those Earthlings. Swords have no eyes; let them open their eyes and be careful." Raynor paused, then continued:

"Let's see how we Terrans fight the insects."

"Well, there's one more thing. Although it's inconvenient, our troops found some advanced Earth equipment while crossing the UED Atlas Wing ' positions, including nanomedical kits used by Earth field medics, nanorobot repair equipment, and lightweight Power Armor," Charles told Raynor.

UED's nanomedical technology is a valuable asset. Nanomedical robots can quickly repair damaged cells, suture wounds, and even restore the combat effectiveness of injured soldiers.

Previously, only the Umojan Republic was far ahead in nanotechnology.

Medics are one of the native Earth-based military units brought by the UED. Their equipment, including chemically modified agents, nano-conductive anesthetics, and low-powered laser surgical instruments, allows them to perform far better than Terrans medics. Calculations show that this can increase the average lifespan of UED marines by a full 9 seconds compared to Terrans.

It's worth mentioning that the practice of having medics has a long history on Earth. These fascinating women have always selflessly and bravely thrown themselves into battle to protect their wounded comrades.

"Think about how many people UED's advanced medical technology could have saved. If we had had this when we first encountered the aliens, many of the best young men and good people who fought alongside us against the Confederacy and the aliens would be alive today," Raynor said in a hoarse voice.

"We should immediately find a way to get our medics to use any usable equipment, and mark the rest so we can come back for them later," he said.

"We'll hand these over to Swann later and see what new tricks our all-powerful reverse engineering can come up with. I heard they've been working on that human ark project. I told them there's no need to be so ambitious; the real priority is to develop something that can save lives."

"That seems to be more than just a wild idea," Charles said.

"Just imagine how happy Augustus would be to hear this news. All these years he's been blaming himself for so many good brothers who died in vain before his eyes," Raynor sighed.

"Nanotechnology is a key; with it, we may be able to open a door to technology."

"It's a pity we only ever helped farmers in the past, we don't know anything about these things," Charles said regretfully.

"Therapeutic technology is very useful," Raynor said.

"Friend Raynor, I'm preparing to deploy more Templar Knights to the front lines." Fenix's image appeared on the Holographic Projection screen, and judging from the background behind him, he was clearly at the front lines.

Although the Protoss's power has diminished considerably, their military strength remains formidable.

Meanwhile, more Hybrid were deployed to the main hive area. These monsters possessed astonishing intelligence; unlike in the Tarsonis campaign, they no longer attacked every creature they saw, but instead were able to advance in an orderly fashion alongside the UED army.

This may also be why DuGalle continues to use this weapon—because it has become clear that the Hybrid's past shortcomings have been largely mitigated.

When the Hybrid, Protoss, and Terran armies launched a simultaneous attack, the Char Swarm finally showed signs of weakness. Meanwhile, under the influence of the "Big Bill" Psi Disrupter, the massive Swarm was not always able to leverage its significant numerical advantage.

Just as Raynor had predicted, this diverse coalition finally broke through the Baelrog Brood's hive. These Zerg, covered in white armor, were the most frenzied and terrifying warriors in the Swarm, and finally fell after tearing apart countless enemies.

Baelrog's former leader Gwen, was known for his cruelty, a trait deeply ingrained in the clan through genetic inheritance.

Although the Belrog Brood has had two successors of Cerebrate, this irreplaceable swarm has not died out, and the new Cerebrate will take over the original swarm and the original name.

However, during the period between the death of the previous Overmind and the awakening of the new Overmind, if a Cerebrate dies, it is truly dead, and its race will also perish.

It was already early morning—at this time of year, the nights are unusually short in the Arctic region of Char, and the sweltering daylight is about to arrive.

As the sun rose, an attack launched by Protoss Templar Knights Zealot, Hybrid, Revolutionary Army Armored Forces, and a swarm of UED giant Goliath arrived amidst the thick fog of ash in the early morning.

In the final miles between the front lines and the main nest, the deafening roar of artillery fire, the whistling of rockets, and the soaring of warplanes created a terrifying noise, casting bright flashes of light through the thick fog. The towering Zerg structures covered in chitinous shells were blasted into ruins, leaving only pale skeletons.

Judging from the footage taken from the tracks in front of Raynor, the attack was an extremely spectacular sight.

The first Hybrid, most of which had dark blue skin, while others had white, scaly skin and floated in mid- Hybrid.

To their left was Fenix's Templar Knights army, numbering approximately 100,000—an astonishingly large number. After the Battle of Aiur, assembling such a Zealot legion would not have been easy.

Behind the Templar Knights were densely packed Dragoon, who had likely already suffered losses in the Swarm's repeated attacks. The ground they traversed was littered with golden metal fragments left behind by the Dragoon' broken armor and evaporating blue nutrient solution.

Behind them were Raynor's forces and the UED, but some of the human forces launched their attack from the same forward position as the Protoss.

From their position, the enormous pupa containing the newly born Overmind was clearly visible and within reach; even artillery fire posed a threat to it.

Apart from the land occupied by the Allied forces, every inch of land and every patch of sky was a vast ocean of Swarm. In just two days, millions of lives were lost in Char.
