Jim Raynor stood on the brightly lit, spacious bridge of the White Star, looking down through the viewport at Atrias slowly rotating below.
Terrifying rifts in the void were erupting from the planet's surface, crimson void energy shooting into the heavens. The area they covered and the height they reached were so staggering that they were clearly visible even from high orbit. The void energy, spewing forth like volcanic lava, had even triggered shifts in Atrias's crust, creating massive vortices in the atmosphere large enough to swallow dozens of Augustgrads.
Such a world-shattering scene was the truest definition of Amon's wrath.
Only at that moment did everyone who witnessed the horrifying sight truly grasp how terrifying Amon was. No wonder the Tal'darim worshipped Amon as a god. Perhaps only a deity could display such supernatural power.
"Zeratul was right. When nightmares enter reality, the final battle will arrive." There was little emotion on Augustus's face, as though he had long expected this scene. And in truth, even if he had been deeply shaken inside, he would no longer show it.
He was the Emperor of the Terran Empire, the pillar of the Terrans. A ruler should stand firm as a mountain, unmoved even when Mount Tai collapsed before him.
Before them, hundreds upon thousands of pillars composed of countless void celestial fragments were rising from Atrias's surface, supporting the sky like mountains. Around these void fragments, rifts continued to emerge in all sizes, like springs bubbling up from the earth, blood from hell flowing within them.
Countless void creations poured from the rifts. These dreadful monsters, shrouded in dark crimson light, were cold reflections of the void's dark side. Their existence overturned every law of the material universe.
The void was now no
