"I heard someone was looking for old Tychus?"
By the time Tychus Findlay entered the bridge, he had changed into Power Armor painted a gleaming blue. He carried a Sweet Persuader heavy machine gun in one hand, breathing heavily as he strode in with forceful steps.
Raynor raised an eyebrow and pointed at Tychus's blue armor.
"Why are you wearing that?"
Most regular Imperial Army troops wore red armor. Only Raynor's Raiders, the elite light infantry force, wore blue, and the most famous of them were Raynor's own Raiders.
"Those damned mechanics welded all the ports on this armor shut, damn it—" Tychus sighed deeply, utterly dispirited. "This piece of junk is going to grow onto me."
"What do you mean?" Raynor looked at Augustus, knowing this had been his doing.
Considering that Tychus had been asking for trouble again lately and had seriously offended Augustus, he had brought this on himself.
"You know Tychus still has three months of detention left to serve." Augustus had prepared this armor for Tychus long ago, but had forgotten about it amid everything that followed. "Until his detention ends, this armor will be his new prison."
"..." Tychus's mouth twitched. He did not dare say another word or ask another question. In the vast Terran Empire, there was no one he feared—but he did not dare provoke the man before him.
This was no minor issue for Tychus. It meant that until he was allowed to remove the armor, he would no longer be able to chase women. And what he had done this time was rather serious; he could not smooth it over with a few glib words or some shameless whining.
