The Hall of Revelation was a colossal pyramid-shaped stone structure with soaring spires, standing poetically at the center of the temple's rectangular plaza. Its surface was carved with grand cosmic constellations and vivid murals, mysterious and evocative.
"Can't open it?"
When Augustus crossed the clearly divided lines of Daelaam and Purifier Protoss warriors below the Hall of Revelation and stood between Artanis and Korolariang, the subtle difference in height became immediately apparent. "How could it not open?"
Long before setting out for the Aotearian Rift in search of Ulnar, Augustus had replayed the relevant campaign scenarios in his mind countless times—essentially clearing the whole thing through mental simulation.
He remembered that when Kerrigan, in her Queen of Blades form, had come here with Artanis, the Hall of Revelation had opened immediately.
Using the process of elimination, could the problem be that Kerrigan was not here?
But Augustus had not brought Kerrigan along this time. First, the Queen had to remain on Korhal to stabilize public morale. Second, she was still one final step away from fully absorbing the essence within the Primal Pool.
"Artanis, you said before that only when two chosen races appeared together would the altar reveal the means of awakening the sleeping Xel'Naga." Augustus turned to Artanis and spoke bluntly. "Could that also mean that if the two races who arrive here are not the chosen ones, then there is no way to open the Hall of Revelation?"
"I hate puzzles." Tychus had stared at it for so long that his head was spinning, as if two tiny men were fighting on top of it.
Tychus had never been good at dealing with ancient relics, but if there was money in it, he had enough brains to teach himself into becoming a top-tier archaeologist. Still, with Augustus
