If Ying could find a way to completely convert the consciousnesses within the Brain in a Vat into intelligent virtual life, then as long as the mechanical creations capable of networking remained intact, they would be immortal. Furthermore, sentient beings possess creativity. In the eyes of sentient beings, this innate ability is something other creatures crave. As a virtual intelligent life form, Ying, while possessing wisdom and the capacity for thought, naturally also possesses creativity. And because of its million-year accumulation, it is likely that, all things considered, Ying is the most powerful researcher in the Star Sea Alliance.

Under such circumstances, it might actually manage to tinker with something similar to the Swarm's Gene Lock, allowing it to perfectly control those Brain in a Vat subjects.
