"The God of Shinobi's grandson, is he? But we have no grudge against the Land of Fire, and the sea lies between us, so there's no conflict. My Kirigakure need only focus on developing and watch the mainland's fortunes change." The mysterious Third Mizukage.
"A five-year-old created an S-rank jutsu with that much power? I wonder if it would work on me. We need to keep a close eye on this Senju Nawaki! Those two traitors killed his grandfather, after all. He must want revenge on Kumogakure just as much as Konoha does, right?" The muscular Third Raikage.
"A perfect combination of nature transformation and shape transformation? I wonder how it compares in power to Dust Release. We only need to keep an eye on him. Konoha's merchant caravans have been bringing us plenty of grain lately, and we have more than enough ore. We can't afford a conflict for now." The Third Tsuchikage.
"A genius? Konoha really does produce talent after talent. Still, we should focus on studying the One-Tail's power. My Magnet Release has made more progress lately. And so, Senju Nawaki's name entered the great nations' field of vision for the first time. The whole Shinobi World acknowledged him as a Konoha prodigy, and at the age of five, he had officially stepped onto the stage of the shinobi world!
That night, Nawaki's fame reached six hundred points. It continued to rise slowly as the news spread. According to the system's estimate, a title known throughout the world could bring him at least a thousand fame points. In other words, in two or three years, he would have enough Wish Power to exchange for the Uchiha Clan's bloodline limit.

Overall, aside from his shortcomings in genjutsu and chakra reserves, Nawaki now had the strength of a Jonin. His usual combat options were the Six Powers and a string of ninjutsu using the various elements, while the Rasenshuriken and Wood Release were his trump cards. An Elite Jonin or stronger who didn't know about him might well be caught off guard and defeated.
Unfortunately, he was already a somewhat famous prodigy, and the shinobi in every village would have information on him.
So, to improve his strength and add to his trump cards, he had begun learning the Flying Thunder God Technique!
Learning the Flying Thunder God Technique, created by the Second Hokage, required two prerequisites: spatial perception and the ability to create cursed seal formulas. Both required innate talent—the former called for sensory talent, while the latter required an aptitude for learning Sealing Jutsu.
Even innate talent wasn't enough. He still had to study and train relentlessly to meet the requirements for using the technique.
Take spatial perception, for instance. At first, one could only sense faint fluctuations in space. The first stage was sensing stationary spatial coordinates. At the second stage, one could sense and pinpoint coordinates moving at high speed. The final stage involved sensing and pinpointing multiple fast-moving coordinates at once, then transferring rapidly between them.
In the original story, the Second Hokage had only reached the second stage of spatial perception, while the Fourth Hokage had reached the final stage. That was why he could kill more than fifty Jonin in one move, while the Second Hokage had been surrounded and killed by a rebel army led by Kinkaku and Ginkaku.
As for redirecting a large-scale enemy jutsu with Flying Thunder God Guiding Thunder, the second stage of spatial perception was enough.
The ability to create Flying Thunder God cursed seal formulas also had three stages. The first was to copy the original mark and successfully apply it to an object. The second was to create a mark best suited to oneself: the Second Hokage used a pattern, while the Fourth used writing. The third was to leave a mark that was almost impossible to remove the instant one came into contact with a target.
In the original story, both the Second and Fourth Hokage had reached the third stage of cursed seal formula mastery. The enemies they marked were powerful enough that a single strike was unlikely to finish them off—otherwise, why not just kill them? Leaving a mark on an enemy was a last resort to turn the tables.
Comparing the two, cursed seal formulas seemed easier to learn, while spatial perception depended more on grueling practice. The difference was like that between ninjutsu and Shurikenjutsu: the former relied on theory and practice, while the latter depended on insight and talent, and had no upper limit.
So, as he trained in the Flying Thunder God Technique, Nawaki decided to tackle the easier part first. In the early stages, he would focus on studying cursed seal formulas while also practicing spatial perception. Once he had mastered the seals to the third stage, he would devote himself fully to training his spatial perception.
Nawaki reached the first stage of both requirements for the Flying Thunder God Technique in a single afternoon. But it was no use: according to the Scroll of Sealing, copying and creating a mark took him an hour! And because the spatial fluctuations produced by the mark didn't match the frequency of his spatial perception, he had to remain completely motionless for ten minutes and focus all his senses on those fluctuations before he could move through space and appear at the mark. And the distance had to be within one meter! The farther away the mark, the longer it took!
Ten minutes without moving just to teleport one meter was utterly impractical. Use it for travel? In ten minutes, he could run a hundred thousand meters! And using it in battle was out of the question—it would be no different from suicide.
But the process wasn't without its good news. Nawaki discovered that if he stood on the mark and touched it directly, he could flash instantaneously over no distance at all. In other words, he could keep passing through the mark between the dimensional space and reality!
Although each transfer lasted only an instant, he could flash repeatedly without interruption, with the transitions flowing seamlessly. The gap between flashes was less than a thousandth of an instant!
The world was in a constant state of coming into being and passing away! Quantum physics had already proved this. The most basic structure of all matter was the "string." A string had a single fundamental nature but could take two forms, "open" and "closed"—the one giving rise to two. They could vibrate at different frequencies, and when two frequencies met, they produced a third—the two giving rise to three.
