Of course, Konoha's situation was now completely different from the original. Not only were its forces plentiful, but under Nawaki's guidance, Kakashi was also far stronger than in the original. If things continued this way, the Battle of Kannabi Bridge would inevitably be completely altered—whether it would even happen was uncertain. He then drafted a plan to repel the enemy and ordered Minato's team to destroy Iwagakure's supply line—the Kannabi Bridge.

Because of their absolute trust in Nawaki's strategic ability, Konoha's higher-ups saw nothing wrong with the plan and approved it immediately. They did not dispatch major forces to reinforce the Land of Grass border.

Kannabi Bridge was located within the Land of Grass. It was an extremely important transportation route; without it, Iwagakure's supplies could not possibly reach the front lines.

In truth, this mission was better suited for
