The tent fell deathly silent. The Yuki Clan head's gaze wandered as his expression shifted unpredictably. He racked his brains, thinking it over again and again in hopes of finding even a sliver of survival. After a long while, his face suddenly flushed red, and with a Pfft, he spat out a mouthful of blood!
This was the result of excessive mental strain compounded by his unstable state of mind.
"Cough, cough..." The Yuki Clan head coughed up scarlet blood and looked at Nawaki with a complicated expression. "Skywalker truly leaves nothing uncalculated! Other than surrendering to Konoha, I exhausted every scheme I could think of and still could not find the slightest chance of survival! It seems that you had planned everything long ago! How laughable that I still imagined I could compete with you!"
"You flatter me, Clan Head Yuki!" Nawaki said, looking at him with admiration. "Your intellect has already reached the limits of an ordinary person. You would be more than qualified to serve as an advisor in any ninja village! I only gained a slight edge this time because I held several advantages."
When Kirigakure's high-ranking officials heard the Yuki Clan head voluntarily admit defeat, they all fell into complete despair. Their eyes filled with fear as they looked at Nawaki. So he had calculated everything from the very beginning, as though he had woven an enormous invisible net around Kirigakure's leading clan faction. No matter how they struggled, they could not escape his control. What terrifying intelligence was this? Earlier, they had mocked him like he was a fool, only to be slapped in the face so quickly. The truly foolish ones had been themselves.
The few who had laughed the most wildly earlier were now filled with unease, terrified that Skywalker would settle
