"Did something happen, Pervy Sage?" Naruto asked curiously.
Jiraiya nodded. "I just received the latest news. Akatsuki and Orochimaru's people aren't the only ones involved in this mission to the Land of the Moon. People from the Land of Lightning and the Land of Earth have joined in too. We need to pick up the pace, or this mission will become even harder, and our chances of completing it will drop dramatically."
After thinking it over, Kakashi said, "Not necessarily, Lord Jiraiya. We do have a peace treaty with the Land of Lightning, after all. They won't tear it up unless they have no other choice. It's the Land of Earth we should watch out for."
Naruto added, "Kakashi-sensei is right. I hate to admit it, but the old man Raikage is actually a pretty decent guy. He's straightforward and honorable, so he won't play dirty with us. I'm more worried about the Land of Earth too. Konoha's relationship with Iwagakure hasn't been good since the First Shinobi World War. On top of that, the current Tsuchikage, Ōnoki, was deeply humiliated by our village's founder, Madara Uchiha, when he was young. It changed his beliefs for the rest of his life. Now he's a stubborn old man, so I think the Land of Earth will be the biggest obstacle on this mission."
Hinata asked in confusion, "Um, Naruto-kun, how do you know something so secret?"
Naruto looked at Hinata's puzzled eyes, then saw that Jiraiya and Kakashi were staring at him with the same confusion. He immediately realized he had said too much. *Uh, damn it. I've revealed some important things, but I used the Sage of Six Paths as my excuse. Why did I bring up something this private too? How am I supposed to explain it away? I
