After helping Boruto and Sarada finish their training for the day, Naruto went home with Minato. Finding only Kushina cooking in the kitchen, he asked, "Mom, we're home! Oh, where's Karin? I haven't seen her. Doesn't she usually cook with you?"
Kushina came out of the kitchen when she heard him. "Welcome home. Karin went to the Land of Snow on a mission with Yakumo, Haku, and Shizuka. They left this afternoon and seemed to be in quite a hurry. I don't know what happened, but she mentioned that something had come up in the Land of Snow and needed to be dealt with as soon as possible. Lady Tsunade ordered their team to leave immediately."
Naruto grew worried and murmured, "What could be so urgent that they had to leave right away? Granny Tsunade didn't mention anything to me."
Seeing how troubled he looked, Kushina said, "All right, stop worrying. They'll be fine. Shizuka is with them. Go wash your hands. Dinner is almost ready. After we eat, I'll have Minato ask Lady Tsunade what's going on." Minato reassured him as well. "Naruto, your mom is right. Go wash your hands first. I'll ask for you, and if they really are in danger, I'll go help them. Don't worry."
