After Tsunade and Minato returned to the Conference Office, Tsunade sighed. "Looks like the Old Man really has lost it. He actually joined that old bastard Danzo in this nonsense. I'm furious!" She slammed her hand down on the desk in anger, smashing it in two.

Minato's expression remained icy, and he said nothing. Tsunade looked up at his darkened face and understood the hatred and disappointment he felt. But she had no idea how to console him, because she felt exactly the same. She was utterly disappointed in her own teacher.

Just then, Jiraiya suddenly jumped in through the window. Seeing their icy expressions, he asked curiously, "What's wrong with you two? Minato, I got your message saying your second child had been born, so I hurried over using the Reverse Summoning Technique. Why do you both look so grim? What happened?"

When Minato saw Jiraiya, he quickly greeted him. "Master Jiraiya."

Tsunade glanced at Jiraiya, then ignored him. Though he felt a little dejected when she paid him no further attention, he had long since grown accustomed to her coldness and soon shrugged it off. After all these years, he was used to it.

Minato told Jiraiya what had happened with the Third Hokage and Danzo. Jiraiya listened in growing disbelief, then finally let out a deep sigh. "Looks like the Old Man really has gotten old. He's gone senile, coming up with such a rotten idea. He's practically asking for trouble."

Jiraiya looked at Minato and asked, "So you and Tsunade went to see the Old Man. Did you settle things?"

Minato nodded. "The Third Hokage agreed, but I don't think Danzo will give up that easily."

Tsunade added, "Right. Danzo probably had no intention of agreeing, but he reluctantly gave in because of the Third Hokage.
