After fighting Naruto for so long, the Solar Beast began to lose interest. He had also gained a basic understanding of Naruto and Sasuke's strength. The two were roughly equal, somewhere between the Mortal Realm and the Divine Realm. They were far stronger than the mortal realm peak, but had yet to reach the Divine Realm. They could be considered demigods.
Seeing Naruto charge at him again, the Solar Beast raised a claw wreathed in solar true fire. "Thunder Flame Claw!" He slashed at Naruto, sending a claw of solar true fire hurtling toward him with lightning speed.
Naruto was startled. The attack was far too fast for him to counter. Fortunately, he had Space-Time Ninjutsu to evade it. He hurriedly used the Flying Thunder God Technique to dodge, but a tear still appeared in his Hokage Cloak, ripped open by the shock wave as the Thunder Flame Claw sliced through the air.
When Naruto evaded the Thunder Flame Claw, the Solar Beast did not pursue him. Instead, he retreated, putting some distance between himself and Naruto and Sasuke. At the same time, he recalled his nine miniature suns, leaving Sasuke without any opponents.
Only then could Sasuke break away and reach Naruto's side. "How are you? Are you hurt?"
Naruto shook his head. "I'm fine. The shock wave only tore my clothes. Don't worry. This Solar Beast is far too powerful. Neither of us can gain anything by fighting him alone. We'll have to work together. Sasuke, back me up."
Sasuke glanced at the Solar Beast and nodded. "All right."
After forcing Naruto back, the Solar Beast saw that the two seemed to have come up with a new strategy against him. His interest stirred, and he wanted to see what means Naruto and Sasuke had to defeat him.
