Nawaki Senju pressed his palms together and unleashed the Wood Human Technique. The shadowy figure refused to be outdone and summoned a Flame Giant. The Flame Giant collided head-on with the wooden giant, and the shock wave from the impact wiped out the remaining monsters that were still clinging to life, killing them outright.
Watching the two giants trade blows, Naruto and the others felt as though they had grasped something, yet it kept slipping away. These utterly unskilled clashes were like two children brawling, without a shred of technique. Naruto simply could not make sense of it.
"Is this what a battle between god realm fighters looks like?" Naruto asked in confusion. "I really don't get it. It's just like two kids competing to see who's stronger."
Sasuke froze briefly at Naruto's words. Then, as though something had occurred to him, his tightly furrowed brow relaxed.

"Of course I haven't forgotten," Naruto asked curiously. "But what does that have in common with this?"
"Don't you think Heaven Slayer's slash was incredibly simple?" Sasuke replied. "So simple that even someone who had only just started learning to use a blade could do it. Yet that simple slash made us feel as though we couldn't dodge it-not even with Space-Time Ninjutsu."
