In the pitch-black depths underground, two lights rose at the same time, bathing the entire space in red and white. Naruto and Sasuke had now fully absorbed all the crystals and heavenly flames they had obtained.
Both stood up at once. Dragon force erupted from Naruto, and three red dragons burst out of his body, letting out long roars at Sasuke, their eyes brimming with fighting spirit. Sasuke was much the same. Dragon force spread from his body as three winged blue divine dragons soared into the air, facing Naruto's three red dragons from a distance, their eyes equally eager for battle.
They stared at each other for a while, their fighting spirit steadily rising. Then Naruto suddenly took a kunai from his ninja tool pouch and tossed it into the air. It reached its highest point and began to fall. As it drew closer to the ground, their auras grew stronger, and their power surged ever more fiercely.
The instant the kunai hit the ground, Naruto and Sasuke vanished simultaneously, charging straight at each other. With a boom, they clashed, Naruto's Fūjin Sword colliding with Sasuke's Thunder God Sword.
Chakra and dragon force collided at once, while the three dragons behind each of them crashed together in midair. Their strength was evenly matched, and neither would yield, leaving them locked in a stalemate.
Naruto smiled slightly. "Heh, it's been years since we last fought. You've gotten really strong, Sasuke."
Sasuke smiled too. "Heh, I couldn't just keep standing still. I've worked hard all these years to catch up to you. I thought I'd already surpassed you, but it turns out you haven't been slacking off either."
Naruto said smugly, "Of course not. But even though you've gotten a lot stronger, I'll still be the one who wins."
Sasuke laughed.
