In the Hokage's Office, Tsunade slammed her hand on the desk. "According to the Raikage's report, the Akatsuki has already obtained half of the Eight-Tails' power. They didn't capture the Eight-Tails, but that half is enough. Now all they're missing is Naruto's Nine-Tails, so we can't let them get it, no matter what. If they obtain the Nine-Tails' power too, we'll be in real trouble. We could very well end up facing an opponent like the Sage of Six Paths."
Seated beside her, the Third Hokage pondered for a moment before saying, "Then our top priority now is protecting Naruto, correct?"
Tsunade nodded. "That's right. We absolutely cannot let the Akatsuki obtain the Nine-Tails' chakra. The best approach now is to keep Naruto from coming into contact with their members. We can't guarantee they won't extract the Nine-Tails' chakra from him. With his strength, he probably wouldn't be captured, but if they only wanted to take some of the nine-tails chakra, it could still happen. So, just to be safe, we should keep Naruto from fighting the Akatsuki."
Kakashi shook his head. "Lady Tsunade, I don't think that's feasible. With Naruto's personality, he won't go into hiding. Besides, we all know how strong he is. Without him, Konoha would lose a great deal of its fighting strength."
The Fourth Hokage spoke as well. "Yes, that's right. Given Naruto's strength and personality, it's just as Kakashi said-he probably won't hide. He might even give the Akatsuki some nine-tails chakra himself, because I know how desperately he wants an opponent. He has Sasuke, but both of them hold back when they fight each other. If Naruto and Sasuke learn about this, I'm afraid they might deliberately create an opponent like that just to have someone to fight."
