Qingxi tugged on Minato's clothes and tipped her chin toward Kushina, hoping he would persuade her to stop. Minato broke into a cold sweat and gave an awkward smile. Qingxi shot him a look of outright contempt.
Minato could only smile wryly, indicating that he was powerless to help. Qingxi sighed. "Mom, you've been talking about this for ages. Besides, didn't my brother come back safely? Nothing happened to him, and he got rid of the trouble Otsutsuki Momoshiki was causing. Isn't that a good thing?"
Kushina immediately shot her a look and stared at her. "What, do you think I should reward your brother?"
Qingxi shuddered under that stare. "N-no, not at all. My brother ignored the danger and went with Sasuke to fight someone that dangerous, without giving a thought to how worried his parents would be. That was terrible of him. You're right to scold him, Mom. Please, carry on." Qingxi folded in an instant, leaving Minato dumbstruck.

Kushina snorted. "Don't think I don't know what you're up to. I'm warning you, if you dare act like your brother, you'll have me to answer to."
Qingxi hurriedly assured her that she wouldn't dare. Minato spoke up then. "All right, Kushina. It's already happened, so let's stop dwelling on it. Fortunately, both of them are fine. Let's leave it at that. I'll have a word with
