As the Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique took effect, a layer of paper flakes fell away from Madara Uchiha, and his reanimated body became living flesh. Feeling his heart beat, Madara Uchiha laughed wildly. "Hahaha... now this is a real body! This feeling of my blood boiling, hahaha..."
Madara Uchiha jumped down from the cliff and walked up to Naruto and Sasuke. Lowering his head to look at Nagato, he smiled. "Heh, now then, give me back what you have, Nagato."
Controlled by Black Zetsu, Nagato could not move. Resentment filled his heart. He had never imagined things would turn out like this-that he would be played by a dead man like Madara Uchiha.
Sensing Nagato's resentment, Madara Uchiha merely smiled smugly. He reached out, gouged out Nagato's Rinnegan, and fitted it into his own socket, then placed a hand on Nagato's abdomen.
Naruto and Sasuke reacted at that moment. Sasuke unleashed Amaterasu, setting Madara Uchiha ablaze with black flames, while Naruto hurled a Rasenshuriken at him.
Madara Uchiha paid no heed to their attacks. Instead, he began pulling the Ten-Tails straight out of Nagato. As the tailed beast was taken from him, Nagato let out a tremendous roar of agony.
Hearing Nagato's agonized cry from a distance, Konan and Yahiko immediately knew something was wrong. They decisively abandoned their fights with Jiraiya and Orochimaru and rushed toward Nagato.
Madara Uchiha extended a hand and activated the Preta Path, instantly absorbing Sasuke's black flames and Naruto's Rasenshuriken. Seeing that the Ten-Tails was about to be extracted, Naruto and Sasuke threw caution aside and used Space-Time Ninjutsu to appear before Madara Uchiha, slashing straight at him with the Fūjin Sword and the Thunder God Sword.
A mechanical arm extended from Madara Uchiha's back and grabbed Naruto's Fūjin Sword with lightning speed.
