Naruto groggily opened his eyes and saw Anko watching him with a worried expression. "Anko, looks like I still haven't woken up from my consciousness. But I'm so happy I get to see you. I wish I could just keep looking at you and never wake up. Do you know? Whenever I go looking for you, you always keep me at arm's length. I know you don't want to see me, but I can't stop myself from coming to find you. Yet every time, you hide at home and pretend you aren't there. It's only in my consciousness that you don't hide from me."
Naruto rambled on at length. Seeing his devotion and how much he missed her, Anko softened a little. "You should know that what happened between us was a mistake. Since you know perfectly well that we can't be together, why are you so stubborn about it?"
