"Byakugan! Activate!" Li Tong abruptly brought his hands together. Wrinkles appeared beside his eyes, and his wide-open eyes turned white. In that instant, the world changed. It was reduced to shades of gray and white, and everything became translucent as though seen through. The world was now a place outlined in lines!

He looked up at the window!

His vision pierced straight through the curtains, zooming in until he could see several Anbu Ninja by the lake outside. Li Tong could see through their clothes and flesh, and even observe how the chakra flowed within their bodies.

But he couldn't see their faces!

Their masks were specially made! They were ninja tools, and they could actually block the Byakugan's vision!

At the same time, Li Tong could see behind himself. His vision passed through the wall, revealing the woods behind the cabin...
