Background

Li Tong was originally a twenty-seven-year-old Chinese-descended master magician. A former assistant and prized pupil of David Rawls, he became the world’s highest-earning magician after beginning his independent career at age twenty-two. He was meticulous about his props, cleanliness, and presentation, and his only stated hobby outside magic was card games. 1

After a Samsung phone exploded during a mobile-game event, Li Tong died in a Las Vegas hotel and awakened in the Naruto world inside the body of a child. The body had belonged to an Amegakure assassin who had infiltrated Konoha with five other children and killed three Hyuga Chunin before being captured. 1 5

Interrogated by Hatake Sakumo and Kato Ki, Li Tong claimed amnesia to conceal his transmigration. Yamanaka Oniichi’s Mind Reading confirmed that the body’s memories were inaccessible, allowing Li Tong to survive imprisonment. During confinement, he discovered that the Card Emperor Sprite and its system had become embedded in his left eye. 2 3

He routinely hides the Card Emperor System, lies about his killings, and turns apparently hopeless encounters into traps.
