Three days later.
While Bibi Dong was returning from Star Dou Forest to Spirit City, Qian Xunji also headed for Clear Sky Sect.
Bibi Dong had become a Soul Douluo. Years of painstaking cultivation, along with a Ten-Thousand-Year Soul Beast Soul Ring, had propelled her Soul Power to level 84.
It was time to head to Slaughter City and seek out the place where the Rakshasa God's inheritance lay, as well as the remnants of the Rakshasa God's divine soul.
From the memories of her previous life, Bibi Dong knew full well that the Rakshasa God was dead. Only the remnants of her divine soul remained in Slaughter City, waiting for a suitable successor to appear.
Perhaps she could negotiate with the Rakshasa God and have her God Trial skip some unnecessary steps, helping her ascend to godhood sooner.
Qian Daoliu and Qian Xunji were difficult to scheme against.
There was a good chance she could use one of the two little ones, Qian Renxia or Qian Renhui, but it would still take years. After all, secretly taking either of them out of Spirit City was no easy task.
If she failed, she would undoubtedly be sent back to the lightless Secret Chamber, with no chance of ever leaving.
Several years was simply too long.
The resentment that had built up inside her made her unwilling to wait even a little.
So having the Rakshasa God simplify some of the God Trial's steps would undoubtedly be a win-win.
But Qian Xunji was currently away from Spirit City. She would have to wait for him to return before she had a chance to go to Slaughter City.
Although Qian Xunji had let her out, there were still plenty of eyes watching her.
She had no chance to leave Spirit City.
Douluo Continent, Star Luo Empire.
Clear Sky Sect.
Night fell.
Qian Xunji had already disguised himself and slipped into Clear Sky Sect during the day.
After spending most of the day gathering information, he learned where Tang Weiwei lived.
He waited until nightfall, changed into dark clothes, and made his way toward Tang Weiwei's residence.
He was a Deity now. Evading the patrolling disciples was child's play.
Especially at night.
Tang Weiwei's residence.
It was a small courtyard with flowers, grass, trees, and a pond. The surroundings were lovely, and it stood at the edge of Clear Sky Sect's central grounds.
At that moment, Tang Weiwei was cultivating.
The maidservants in the courtyard had already gone to bed.
Qian Xunji silently slipped into the courtyard and made his way toward Tang Weiwei's main room.
He reached the main room.
Qian Xunji burst straight through the door.
"Who's there?" Tang Weiwei's eyes flew open. She shouted as she tried to summon her Martial Soul—the Clear Sky Hammer.
But Qian Xunji was faster.
In an instant, he subdued her and carried her off.
Tang Weiwei's furious shout still roused the maidservants in the courtyard.
Pale with fright, one of them cried, "Help! Something's happened! Elder Weiwei has been kidnapped!"
The maidservant's voice was loud.
After being relayed from one person to the next, it reached Tang Wei.
"Kidnapper, don't you dare run!" Tang Wei chased after Qian Xunji, who was dressed in dark clothes.
But Qian Xunji was already far from Clear Sky Sect. To Tang Wei, he looked like a tiny speck.
Qian Xunji did not head straight back to Spirit City. Instead, with Tang Wei and the elders behind him, he flew out over the sea.
Tang Weiwei struggled nonstop on Qian Xunji's shoulder. She couldn't use her Martial Soul or Soul Power; otherwise, she would have given Qian Xunji a couple of solid whacks with her hammer.
She demanded, "You scoundrel, who are you? What do you want with me after abducting me from Clear Sky Sect?"
Qian Xunji had no intention of concealing his identity from Tang Weiwei. Amused, he said, "Old maid, did you forget me, the Pope, that quickly?"
"Did you think refusing me that day meant you could escape my grasp?"
"No woman I've set my sights on has ever escaped me!"
"And you, Tang Weiwei, are no exception."
Tang Weiwei was already in her fifties. What else could you call her but an old maid?
But although Tang Weiwei was in her fifties, Titled Douluo lived long lives, and she had taken excellent care of herself. She still looked full of life, as if she were only twenty-five or twenty-six.
Fifty-odd was still young for a Titled Douluo.
"Tang Weiwei, once you come back to Pope Palace with me and learn what it means to be a woman, I guarantee you won't want to leave me for the rest of your life."
"If you don't believe me, you can ask Tang Yuehua once we get to Pope Palace. She's had quite the experience by now," Qian Xunji continued, teasing Tang Weiwei.
"Qian Xunji, you shameless bastard!" Tang Weiwei's face turned purple with rage. Her words were a double-edged rebuke: she was condemning both his vulgar language and his savage actions, utterly unbefitting the Pope of Spirit Hall.
She then demanded, "Qian Xunji, aren't you afraid Clear Sky Sect will go to war with Spirit Hall for abducting me?"
"You can still let me go. Don't keep making the same mistake."
"I'm nothing like that good-for-nothing Tang Yuehua!"
Qian Xunji scoffed. "Which of Tang Wei's eyes saw me abducting you?"
"Let him catch up to me first!"
"And if Clear Sky Sect went to war with Spirit Hall, do you think Clear Sky Sect has the strength to do that?"
Tang Weiwei was so furious she couldn't speak. She had never met anyone so shameless.
Tang Wei and the elders of Clear Sky Sect tracked Qian Xunji all the way to the deep sea.
But by then, he had long since vanished from sight, along with Tang Weiwei.
What a disgrace!
It was bad enough that one of their elders had been abducted from their own sect.
Worse still, Tang Wei had no idea who had taken Tang Weiwei.
But he had a suspect.
There were only four people in the world with that kind of power.
Of the four, his missing father, Bo Saixi, and Qian Daoliu were all impossible.
The only one shameless enough to pull such a despicable stunt was Qian Xunji.
Tang Wei couldn't help cursing, "Qian Xunji, you've bullied Clear Sky Sect time and time again!"
"I'm not done with you!"
The Clear Sky elders around Tang Wei saw how furious he was and didn't dare say a word.
After a long while, once Tang Wei's anger had begun to subside, one of the Clear Sky elders asked, "Sect Master, what should we do now?"
"What should we do?"
"Of course we're taking people to Spirit City to demand her return!"
"But Sect Master, Spirit City is too strange. We can't use our Martial Souls or Soul Power there." The elder couldn't help remembering their last experience in Spirit City, and he was extremely uneasy.
"Then we won't enter Spirit City."
"We'll stand outside and curse them. Let the Soul Masters of the world see how this so-called Holy Land of Soul Masters behaves!" Tang Wei immediately came up with a plan.
"Brilliant, Sect Master."
The elder who had asked the question instantly relaxed and began buttering Tang Wei up.
"The Sect Master is wise."
Seeing that, the other elders joined in and praised Tang Wei as well.
"All hail the Sect Master's wisdom."
"Enough. Rather than waste time talking here, we should get back to Clear Sky Sect and do something useful."
"Don't forget, Elder Weiwei is still in Qian Xunji's hands. She's in danger." Tang Wei wasn't impressed by the elders' flattery. After scolding them, he led them back to Clear Sky Sect.
Douluo Continent, Spirit City.
Pope Palace.
Qian Xunji returned to Pope Palace with Tang Weiwei without a sound, and no one noticed.
Once back at Pope Palace, Qian Xunji locked Tang Weiwei in Suite No. 4 of the Underground Palace.
Inside Suite No. 4.
Tang Weiwei stared at Qian Xunji in terror, retreating again and again. "Qian Xunji, don't come any closer. If you dare touch me, Tang Wei and Clear Sky Sect will never let you get away with it."
