"Wake up."
"Hmm?"
Uchiha Shin, fast asleep, was vigorously shaken awake.
"Oh, it's Izuna... and Madara, too."
"What... happened?"
Still groggy, Uchiha Shin opened his eyes and saw Izuna clutching his arm and shaking him from side to side.
Madara was lying on the tatami, propping his head up with both arms and grinning at him.
"You two are up early."
His sweet dream had been interrupted, and Uchiha Shin was a little grumpy about getting up. Still, he sat up, rubbed his eyes, and mumbled,
"But, big brother, you were fine last night."
"You said you'd teach me and second brother the Rasengan today..."
"So... as soon as we woke up this morning, second brother and I came right over."
"Hehe."
"Mm-hmm."
Izuna looked rather pleased with himself after waking his big brother.
Uchiha Shin turned to Madara, wanting to confirm if that was really the case.
Madara was lying on the tatami, propping his head up with both hands and swinging his feet back and forth. He grinned and nodded, too.
"Fine... I'm getting up."
"But you'll have to wait until I've washed up and eaten breakfast."
"Also, skipping breakfast can lead to stomach cancer."
After Madara confirmed it, Uchiha Shin could only get up reluctantly. He also took the opportunity to explain to the two of them what serious consequences skipping breakfast could have on their health.
"By the way, where's Hana?"
"Is she up yet?"
As Uchiha Shin washed his face, he asked Izuna and Madara, who were sitting nearby.

Izuna glanced at his second brother Madara, as if checking whether he'd seen Sister Hana around the house this morning.

"What about Father and Mother?"
"Are they home today?"
Uchiha Shin started changing clothes.
