A white-haired old man with long eyebrows appeared in a Body Flicker, visible to the naked eye, and lifted the other old man lying on the ground into his arms.
Their similar faces made it obvious at a glance that they were twin brothers.
And both had activated the Ketsuryūgan.
Rikusei grumbled inwardly. What's next? Are they going to rip out their eyes and awaken the Eternal Ketsuryūgan right here? That'd be so melodramatic.
As it turned out, he needn't have worried.
The white-browed old man closed the eyes of the scar-faced elder, then slowly stood up and stared at them with a cold expression.
Kuan, among the crowd, was even more shocked than Rikusei.
He hadn't expected that the clan head, who had always leaned on a cane and hobbled along, wasn't actually lame—and that his Body Flicker Technique was faster than Kuan's.
