Rikusei joined Konoha’s young shinobi on an expedition where Hashirama and Madara subdued the Nine-Tails and the Uzumaki sealed it in separate portions. Konoha celebrated the capture, while its leaders began planning how to respond as other villages pursued Tailed Beasts too.

• Naori showed Rikusei her newly awakened Sharingan, and Rikusei later activated a Double Tomoe Sharingan of his own.
• Hashirama and Madara announced the plan to capture the Nine Tailed Beasts, and Tobirama selected twenty Academy students, including Rikusei and Naori, to accompany the expedition.
• Tobirama organized the force and explained that Hashirama and Madara would fight the Nine-Tails while the Uzumaki and Anbu formed a barrier and handled the sealing.
• Hashirama and Madara battled the Nine-Tails with their Wood Golem and Susanoo, and Hashirama subdued the beast with Sage Art: Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands.
• The Uzumaki sealed the Nine-Tails in separate portions, and Tobirama forged a huge black pot as the shinobi celebrated around clan bonfires.
• Kaimi gave Rikusei a kettle containing a piece of the Nine-Tails, and Rikusei and Taiichi used Kikaichū to quiet it before the gathered shinobi stacked the kettles together.
• Hashirama restored the land, and the troops returned to Konoha with the captured Nine-Tails as Naori invited Rikusei to the Dango Shop.
• Hyuga Ryudo decided that Main and Branch Family members should help seal the Tailed Beasts, while Shikahira proposed publicizing Konoha’s strength and Tobirama brought his ideas to Hashirama and Madara.

Madara took Rikusei beyond Konoha to test the new era of peace, and their journey brought them into conflict with the Chinoike Clan and closer ties with the Hagoromo Clan. The arc left the Hagoromo negotiating with Konoha while Mao challenged Uchiha students and proved her strength.

• Madara persuaded Hashirama to travel with him and Rikusei beyond Konoha, and Hashirama agreed to let them go for up to two years.
• Rikusei visited Naka Shrine with Naori, uncovered the hidden path to the stone tablet, and learned that Madara had arranged his early graduation and training abroad.
• Madara and Rikusei departed Konoha, evaded recognition on the road, and stopped Kakuzu from reaching Hashirama as an assassin.
• Madara and Rikusei visited the Hagoromo Clan, where Madara offered support and Rikusei helped arrange an agreement that let Hagoromo members come to Konoha openly.
• The Uchiha and Chinoike Clans fought during the Blood Pond Clan’s uprising, and Rikusei used Madara’s Sharingan imprint to control the Nine-Tails and defeat Yusuke’s plan.
• Rikusei helped settle the aftermath by negotiating a 35 Million Ryo payment from Kuan, while Madara ended the Uchiha Clan’s independent dealings with the Land of Lightning’s Daimyo.
• Hagoromo Jun and Mao arrived in Konoha, where Mao enrolled at the Academy and the clans began negotiating the terms of an alliance.
• Mao challenged Uchiha students Rai and Baru, outmatched them with her sword, and split their combined Fire Release with a wind blade.

Rikusei traveled with Madara as Madara challenged the Raikage and then drew the other Kage into battle. After Hashirama and Tobirama secretly observed the confrontation, Hashirama reunited with Madara as the first meeting of the Five Kage began.

• Ryudo and Genqing considered the Kaguya Clan as an ally, and Harumasa suggested inviting the Yuki Clan shop owner to help them approach it.
• Kaku placed Mao in Class A, where she met Karin and later discovered Uchiha Chiri was Rikusei’s grandmother, while Kaku pressed Qingxuan about the Hyuga Clan’s plans.
• Hashirama defeated Kakuzu in a Taijutsu match, spared him, and left him Military Ration Pills before rejoining the convoy.
• Rikusei reunited with Naori and his classmates, helped Naori awaken her Double Tomoe Sharingan, and learned chakra-control techniques from Hashirama before leaving with Madara.
• Madara challenged the Raikage in Kumogakure and defeated him, then Rikusei suggested that the Shinobi World could unite by replacing countries with villages.
• Hashirama and Tobirama secretly traveled to Iwagakure as the Kage gathered, while Hashirama restrained the Eight-Tails and began sealing it.
• Madara fought the four Kage at Iwagakure and overwhelmed them with Susanoo, while Hashirama watched in disguise and Rikusei warned that Madara had once promised him a cultivation trip.
• Hashirama revealed his presence, confronted Madara about the promised trip, and joined the four Kage as Rikusei stood with Madara’s group for the first meeting of the Five Kage.
