• Xuan Zi rebuked the team for underestimating their younger opponents, then led them toward Star Luo City, where Huo Yutong recognized Dai Hao as the father who had abandoned her mother.
• The Hand of Death lured Shrek’s students into a corpse-filled cave, where an explosion gravely wounded Dai Yueheng and Chen Zifeng, and Huo Yutong absorbed the Death God Envoy after Jiang Yi stopped his attack.
• Xuan Zi appointed Jiang Yi captain of the remaining students, and Jiang Yi comforted Ma Xiaotao before Ice Empress stopped Snow Empress from attacking the camp.

• Tian Meng pinned Snow Empress with her dreamlike power, but Jiang Yi persuaded her to stay by promising she could free Ice Empress by plucking the Lovesick Heartbreak Red, while Ice Empress admitted she had only pretended to be unconscious.
• Jiang Yi purified the Soul Devouring Carving Knife with the Jiang Dream Butterfly and the Sea God's Trident, and Shrek advanced through the tournament as he brought Snow Empress, now called Jiang Xue'er, into the group.
