Jiang Yi led the Tang Sect through the tournament and helped bring down the Holy Spirit Cult’s Bright City base while Shrek gained new allies. The Sun Moon Empire was left weakened, but Zhongli Wu served the Abyssal Sage King and Long Xiaoyao began a slaughter in the Star Luo imperial palace.

• Jiang Nannan and the Tang Sect defeated the Body Sect, and Jiang Yi gave Xu Tianran and Jing Hongchen high-grade Poké Balls while Vina resolved to obtain Shrek’s contract method.
• Jiang Yi bought the Golden Blade, saw the Dragon God’s vision, and welcomed Ye Guyi as Electrolux’s disciple and his junior sister.
• Jiang Yi met Ju Zi in the imperial bedchamber, where she chose him rather than let Xu Tianran force her to conceive a child with another man, then refused his offer to leave the empire.
• After Evil Soul Masters ambushed the Body Sect, Vina and Xu Jiujiu joined Jiang Yi in organizing an attack on the Holy Spirit Cult’s Bright City base while other Soul Masters feinted against the palace.
• Jiang Yi and Ye Guyi fought Ye Xishui and her forces with help from the Ice Empress and Snow Empress, then Jiang Yi froze the Holy Spirit Cult’s base and protected the fleeing academies from imperial pursuit.
• Jing Hongchen defected to Shrek with the Sun Moon Royal Academy, while Zhongli Wu captured Ye Xishui and Long Xiaoyao and turned them into puppets under the Abyssal Sage King’s orders.
• The tournament ended without a champion, and Jiang Yi reassured the Demon Empress that he would save her when she pursued revenge.
• Long Xiaoyao emerged in the Star Luo imperial palace, killed an old man, absorbed his life, and began slaughtering those inside.

Jiang Yi helped Xu Jiujiu and Vina claim their thrones as the Sun Moon Empire invaded Heaven Soul and attacked Shrek. Shrek's victory enabled Heaven Soul to recover its lands, but Zhongli Wu survived a court purge and a crisis in the Divine Realm brought warnings against Jiang Yi's ascension.

• Jiang Yi helped Xu Jiujiu become empress after Xu Jiawei's death and secretly created a celestial sign to secure the imperial clan's acceptance.
• Xu Tianran invaded Heaven Soul, and Shrek rescued Vina and the surviving imperial family after Heaven Dou City fell and the emperor died.
• Jiang Yi supported Vina's accession after Heaven Soul's military collapse, and Vina claimed the throne in opposition to the third prince installed by Xu Tianran.
• Jiang Yi and Di Tian repelled the assault on Shrek, while Zhongli Wu escaped with the Abyssal Sage King's help and Zhu Zhuqing gravely wounded Xu Tianran.
• Huo Yutong captured Heaven Dou City, and Vina recovered more than a dozen additional cities and pushed the Sun Moon Empire back to the Mingdou Mountain Range.
• Ju Zi and Kong Deming plotted against the Holy Spirit Cult, while Jiang Yi and Xu Jiujiu arranged military cooperation using leaked Sun Moon Empire defense information.
• Zhongli Wu survived Kong Deming's trap and killed Xu Tianran, but Jiang Yi protected Ju Zi and the ministers and forced Zhongli Wu to flee.
• Jiang Nannan, Ning Tian, and Zhu Lu warned Jiang Yi against ascending with Xiao Qi after the Life Goddess imprisoned the God of Destruction and a blue-and-gold figure attacked Rong Nianbing.
