Background / History

Tang San is a transmigrator and a Shrek Academy student who possesses Innate Full Soul Power and Twin Martial Souls. Before meeting Lin Fan, he considers his own talent extraordinary. 9 11

His first major conflict with Lin Fan begins after Lin Fan's offer involving the girls in Tang San's group provokes him. Tang San challenges Lin Fan alongside Dai Mubai and Ma Hongjun, using Blue Silver Grass, hidden weapons, and poison against the Scaled Beast. The attacks fail to penetrate the beast's defenses, and Lin Fan's Mental Shock leaves Tang San incapacitated. 11 12 He is badly defeated and later faints after spitting blood. 13

Tang San later faces Dugu Yan's Heaven Dou Royal Academy team in the Soul Fighting Arena. Despite fighting with hidden weapons and full effort, he is defeated by Dugu Yan after her martial soul evolution. 45 When Lin Fan appears afterward, Tang San's resentment resurfaces, but Yu Xiaogang and Flender compel him to apologize because they need Lin Fan's martial soul advancement service. 45

Xiao Wu subsequently leaves with Lin Fan, an outcome Tang San cannot prevent. Though initially devastated, he resolves to cultivate harder and eventually make her regret abandoning him. 45 46 He later prioritizes the prospect of becoming stronger through Lin Fan's martial soul advancement, refusing to look at Xiao Wu when she appears with Lin Fan. 48

Lin Fan eventually evolves Tang San's two martial souls into the Blue Silver Emperor and Heaven-Breaking Hammer. 65

Personality

Tang San is proud of his rare talent and reacts intensely to humiliation. Lin Fan's taunts leave him furious but unable to formulate a rebuttal, and his defeats create lasting resentment. 9 11 45

He is strongly attached to Xiao Wu, but his pursuit of power ultimately conflicts with that attachment. After she leaves, he chooses to seek martial soul advancement from Lin Fan rather than openly oppose him. 45 46 48
