Unifying the original's confusing power system:

The Ultimate Strength mastered by the Golden Dragon;

The Power of Annihilation derived from the Annihilation Godhead;

The power of destruction mastered by the Purple Brilliant Heaven Destroying Dragon;

The Power of Annihilation obtained by the Dark Dragon King.

Of course,

after reading the previous chapter, many readers would be puzzled:

Why did the Sub-Dragon Progenitor call the Ultimate Strength a foundational power?

First, one setting must be made clear: since the Sub-Dragon Progenitor and the Dragon God were both conceived within chaos,

among the Purple-Gold Twins, since the Golden Dragon mastered the Ultimate Strength, the Amethyst Dragon, his twin, should naturally have mastered the Ultimate Strength as well.

Therefore, to the Dragon God and the Dragon Emperor, the Ultimate Strength was the strength they had mastered in childhood. Now that they had grown up, calling the Ultimate Strength a foundational power was perfectly reasonable.

It was equivalent to what adult humans called a child's strength from drinking milk.

Now, let us explain the differences between the Power of Annihilation, the power of destruction, and the Power of Annihilation.

First, they would be explained by their literal meanings, then through content from the original work.

(1) Literal meanings—

Power of Annihilation: applying force to break apart and destroy an object's structure;

Power of destruction: applying force to smash an object into the tiniest particles and energy;

Power of Annihilation: all matter in the universe remained in perpetual motion (middle school knowledge), so force was applied to completely kill matter, beating it until it lost all motion and fell into stillness—this was "silence."

Breaking, destruction, and silence formed a progressive sequence. One could only begin training from foundational power, the Ultimate Strength.

(2) Combined with the original plot—

Since the Dragon God had used his youth to diligently study the nine great laws of earth, water, wind, fire, light, darkness, time, space, and spirit,

the Sub-Dragon Progenitor could not possibly have been idle, spending every day eating a sun when hungry, lying in the Divine Dragon Realm to sleep when tired, and destroying a galaxy when bored.

So while the Dragon God was diligently studying the nine great laws, what exactly was our Sub-Dragon Progenitor—the Dragon Emperor—doing?

That was right. He should have used the Law of Strength to forge a Godhood, then cultivated upward bit by bit.

He began with foundational power, raised his destructive power to its limit, and forged the Annihilation Godhead;

then he sublimated the Power of Annihilation into the power of destruction, upgrading the Annihilation Godhead into the Destruction Godhead;

finally, before dying in battle, he sublimated a strand of the Power of Annihilation, then was killed under the joint assault of the Dragon God, the Tiger King, and the Nine True Dragon Kings.

After his death, when the Dragon God stripped away the Dragon Emperor's Godhood, which had fallen back into the Annihilation Godhead, he extracted that strand of the Power of Annihilation and bestowed it upon the Dark Dragon King.

That was because the Dark Dragon King was the captain of security for the Dragon God Palace, specifically responsible for protecting the Divine Empress. (The Dragon God did not need dragons weaker than himself to protect him, so only the claim that she protected the Divine Empress made sense.)

And the reason the Sub-Dragon Progenitor was said by the Dragon God to possess excessively strong destructive power was roughly because he had cultivated a power capable of killing matter.

To sum up:

The Dragon God learned a wide variety of things.

The Dragon Emperor specialized in the strength system.

Only this explanation could unify the original work's confusing settings and branching plotlines.

As for Godhood advancement and Godhood regression, both situations had also appeared in the original work, so no examples would be listed one by one here.

Lastly, everyone might as well speculate:

Destruction corresponded to creation. (The Dragon Emperor corresponded to the Phoenix.)

And since destruction was sublimated from annihilation, and could further be sublimated into silence;

then what Godhood came before creation? And what Godhood came after creation?

The author would uncover the answers from the original work in later plot developments.
