Background / History

Hong was recognized as Earth’s world number one powerhouse when he accompanied Elder Qian to inspect Shi Fen’s cultivation in the underground Forging Room. Although skeptical of Elder Qian’s enthusiasm for his new disciple, Hong waited outside rather than disturb Shi Fen’s first cultivation session. 23

After personally probing Shi Fen, Hong discerned that Shi Fen had concealed part of his strength and had unusually high potential as a Spiritual Force Master. Shi Fen’s full-strength punch registered 13,082 kilograms, approaching the middle War General level after his first formal Genetic Origin Energy cultivation. 24

Hong chose to invest heavily in Shi Fen’s future. He supplied Dragon Blood, Jade Marrow, a Millennium Willow Heart, a Space Ring, and complete secret manuals—including his and Thor’s personal martial-arts notes—and acknowledged Shi Fen as his little brother. 24

Hong later helped conceal Shi Fen’s War God strength so that Shi Fen could focus on forging rather than public combat achievements.
