The Black Horse struggled through the woods, and even Fran couldn't help but marvel at how terrible the road was.

Recently, something seems to have happened on the road to the mine. Anyway, when Fran was halfway there, she found that the road was blocked.

The entire road was covered in snow, and even after Fran cleared twenty meters of it, she still couldn't find the right path.

Furthermore, Fran could tell that these roads had been deliberately damaged by others, with traces of tools used for digging.

With no other option, Fran could only follow the direction of a mine, using a map and the coordinates obtained through her observation skills, and drive her Black Horse forward.

The Black Horse wasn't afraid of steep terrain, but Fran hadn't modified it for navigating narrow spaces, so the Black Horse had to endure the pressure from the branches.

There were also all sorts of haphazardly growing trees that completely blocked the way forward. At this point, Fran threw a Wind Blade, which cut down the trees and cleared the way forward.

While this method of advancement would prevent them from losing their way, Fran's current pace was far slower than she had anticipated.

Besides, even if Fran follows the specific direction, once she reaches the vicinity of her destination, she will still need to find out exactly where the mine is.

Fran is now planning to find a spacious place to rest for the night before going to deal with the Undead.

As she rode her Black Horse through the woods, she suddenly heard faint sounds of fighting coming from her left, and judging from the frequency of the sounds, the fight was quite intense.

Now, Fran has two passable gaps in front of her. One leads to the left, where there are fewer branches, and the other leads to the right. Just by looking at Fran, you can tell that this path is not easy to walk.

You might encounter people on the left, the right path is a bit more difficult to navigate...

Fran hesitated for a moment, then let the Black Horse take the easier path on the left. If they encountered people, so be it; she wasn't afraid of running into anyone.

The sounds of fighting grew louder, accompanied by the thud of heavy objects falling to the ground and the dull thud of something breaking.

Fran and the Black Horse had no intention of passing by quietly. The Black Horse's hooves made a sound like tree branches snapping underfoot, drawing attention to itself.

Those who were fighting seemed to have heard the commotion, and the sounds of their fighting paused for a moment, but soon resumed.

After Fran had traveled some distance, she finally saw a relatively open area covered with grass in the dense forest.

On this open space, a battle is taking place. One side consists of the skeleton that Fran had seen in her battle with Richter, while the other side is something that slightly surprises Fran.

Fran arrived at the Battlefield from the side, and she could clearly see a woman wielding a longsword, fighting against five or six skeletons.

She could clearly see the woman's long ' Elf ears' on the side, which made her instantly recognize that she was definitely an Elf.

Upon seeing Fran approach, the female Elf merely glanced at Fran before continuing her battle with the skeletons without saying a word to Fran.

The skeletons seemed to understand human nature; upon sensing Fran's arrival, they paused for a moment, and then two skeletons rushed out of the group towards Fran.

These skeletons looked different from the grunt skeletons Fran had seen before; their exposed skeletons gleamed with a metallic sheen, as if their bodies were made of metal.

Their equipment was also quite different; the weapons they held appeared to be without any chips or nicks, showing no signs of having been buried in the ground for a long time and not used.

Their leather armor wasn't very dirty either; Fran didn't see much dust on it.

Judging from the strength displayed by the Elf fighting the skeleton, Fran could tell that the Elf was definitely First Order Profession.

While these skeletons aren't exactly capable of going toe-to-toe with First Order Profession, they can still be considered First Order skeletons.

After all, if everyone else's summoned creatures are all First Order, what are other Profession supposed to fight? Any creature that can slightly restrain First Order Profession can be considered a First Order skeleton.

The overall attributes of this type of skeleton are much weaker than those of a normal First Order Profession, but are still much higher than those of an apprentice.

Fran didn't immediately deal with the two skeletons, but instead caught a glimpse of the Elf fighting back against the horde of skeletons.

The skeletons attacked with incredible speed, almost instantly slashing their weapons down at the Elf, Elf countered with Arts Fran also knew: [Elven Swordsmanship].

Unlike Fran, who leaped three meters high, the Elf jumped much lower, just like a normal person.

However, since the force on the Z-axis was smaller, the force on other axes was naturally larger. The Elf charged directly into the horde of skeletons like a cannonball.

She spun in the air at an extremely tricky angle, dodging the skeletons' attacks, and arrived behind the skeleton horde. Then, before the skeletons could react, she...

The Elf turned around at an incredible angle and slashed horizontally across the skeleton's waist, knocking several pieces of bone off.

Fran raised an eyebrow. She thought that if she practiced those fancy attack methods and weaving through the enemy ranks, she could probably do it too.

However, Fran differs from that Elf in terms of stats and Arts.

To deal with these skeletons, Fran only needs to use a side slash that changes direction to shatter one of them with a single strike. Moreover, she can probably finish them off in two or three hits by standing on the ground and exchanging blows with them.

More often than not, Fran would simply throw out a few fireballs and use Dragon Flame to burn the skeletons to ashes. Why rush in and risk getting close to the enemy?

But none of that matters. What Fran is more concerned about is why she would encounter an Elf in this place. She has never heard of the Northern Territory being a place where Elf roam.

Even White Dragon Port isn't a place where Elf roam, so where did this Elf come from?

Fran's eyes darted around, as if she had thought of something. She drew the longsword from her waist, then leaped off her horse and soared into the air.

It seemed she jumped a little too hard; she landed behind the two skeletons, but Fran immediately used her Elven Swordsmanship.

Her longsword traced an incredible arc through the air before falling behind the two skeletons.

The elf who was still fighting caught a Elf of this incredible scene out of the corner of her eye. Her pupils contracted slightly, and she almost missed dodging the skeleton's attack because she was distracted.
