Stealth Attack?

Anna was annoyed by Fran's behavior of going up without consulting Anna at all. She was afraid that something would happen to Fran and ruin her plans, so she could only follow Fran closely.

Then what happened next left her speechless: Fran crouched down and walked up behind the skeletons.

The seven skeletons, unaware of Fran's approach, continued to gaze into the passageway.

Then, to Anna's surprise, Fran, without a word, stood up and attacked, without even jumping, directly slashing at the two closest skeletons.

As it was being swung, the longsword burst forth with white light, illuminating the entire cave and blinding Anna, who was behind it, so much so that she couldn't see what was in front of her.

Fran activated the runes on her longsword, making its light even brighter, which attracted the attention of the skeletons blocking the road.

The skeletons whirled around, but before they could react, a white light bathed their entire bodies, accompanied by a burning sound.

The scorching light momentarily halted their movements; faced with the attack, they could only watch helplessly.

An even brighter beam of light flashed across the bodies of the two skeletons, shattering their silvery-white skeletons.

Fran could clearly see that when the light on the longsword came into contact with the Undead, the skeleton, it seemed to dissolve it.

As the light swept across, the silvery-white bone layer seemed to melt into liquid, spreading out on the rod-shaped bone, revealing a slightly dazzling reflection.

But then, the blinding light lasted only a moment before dissipating into negligible components of the air, filling the entire passage with a burning smell.

Two skeletons fell from the sky, and you can see that the fractures are uneven and there are some burrs.

As the sound of the bone hitting the ground before it bounced off the ground rang out, Fran took a step in the direction of the longsword's swing, then used the spot where she stepped as a fulcrum.

She turned around and let the light on her longsword continue its attack, directly targeting the skeleton wielding the greatsword closest to Fran.

The greatsword seemed to be regularly maintained, with only a few specks of freshly fallen dust on the hilt, suggesting that it had only recently come into the skeleton's hands.

As if reacting instinctively, the skeleton gripped its greatsword in front of it, attempting to use it to block Fran's attack.

However, the light was only briefly blocked before passing directly through the skeleton's body, making the skeleton one of the bones that were about to fall to the ground.

Despite Fran's speed, by the time she killed the third skeleton, the skeletons behind her hadn't turned around; they had only slightly turned their heads.

However, the passage was too narrow. After Fran killed three skeletons, which blocked Fran path to continue her attack, she had to use her other hand to push aside the bone fragments to move forward.

When Anna blinked and her vision barely returned, she saw Fran plunge her longsword into the body of a skeleton.

The blue soul fire and white light reacted violently on the skeleton's body, causing it to explode on the spot, scattering bone fragments all over the ground.

Fran continued her attack, and another skeleton turned around, gripped two short swords, and slashed at Fran.

Fran neither dodged nor evaded, letting the twin blades strike her body with the sound of metal clashing against steel. She then stepped forward and slashed the skull diagonally from below.

When Anna blinked again, she saw Fran cut a skeleton in two. Now, only two skeletons remained on the field, one holding a shield and the other Spear. The two weapons were too heavy for them to turn around.

"There are only two skeletons left. What about the other five?" She was a little confused. How could the battle have turned out like this after she just blinked and adjusted to Fran's 'flashbang'?

She had never heard of skeletons fighting based on sight, so how come all the skeletons fell to the ground after she was flashed?

She swallowed hard, remembering what Fran had emphasized during her introduction: ' Battle Mage of the Alliance '.

Only then did she remember how famous the Alliance's Battle Mage were on the continent, their combat power far exceeding that of ordinary First Order Profession.

She had only heard that the Alliance's Battle Mage were very strong before, but only now did she truly realize where the Alliance's Battle Mage were superior to other Profession in combat.

She couldn't help but pat her cheeks, somewhat regretting that she had overlooked such important information and focused entirely on her identity as an ' Elf brethren' The Alliance mage.

"Then the plan will have to be changed." Anna rubbed her tense eyes; the sudden flash of light had made it hard for her to open them, and they were still slightly sore.

Originally, she planned to persuade Fran to call for the Alliance's support so that the Alliance could get the thing they had 'stolen'—that would be the best outcome. But she never expected that this 'comrade' she knew would be so formidable.

Judging from this, the skeletons that could trouble First Order Profession are no different from wooden stakes that can only take hits in front of this Battle Mage.

She watched as Fran faced the remaining two skeletons, a beam of light swept across, and one skeleton split in two, instantly turning to dust, its soul fire extinguished.

The skeletons' attacks had absolutely no effect on Fran.

She watched as the skeleton deliberately stepped back, held its Spear forward, and then thrust it forcefully towards Fran.

However, this poke did not harm Fran. Instead, when it struck Fran, it produced a loud thud, followed by the sound of something breaking.

Anna looked closely and saw a small crack in the middle of the Spear.

The skeleton had no chance to swing its spear again. Fran's longsword burst forth with light and shot out directly at the head burning with blue flames.

Under the immense pressure of the light, the soul fire exploded, and the entire skull shattered into pieces. Thus, the last skeleton blocking the way was gone.

Anna couldn't help but feel a little fear when she looked at Fran, knowing that her previous six-person team hadn't been able to clear out all the enemies so quickly when facing these six skeletons.

They could only clear out two skeletons in an instant by waiting for Grant, the mage, to chant a powerful spell, while Fran, the Battle Mage from the Alliance, cleared out seven skeletons in ten seconds.

"Is this Battle Mage from the Sword Chant School?" Anna had to admit that Fran was far superior to her, Ranger, in combat.

The magical fluctuations from that protective spell alone, along with the unknown spell on the longsword, were enough to kill three of her.
