"What does this mean, mentor?"

Ophelia didn't quite understand what Charles meant, and she scratched her head.

"As I said before, don't you use Prophecy Spell to ask yourselves what to do when you don't know what to do?"

"It's like hunting a powerful target; it tells you to prepare, to set traps, and to tell you the right time to act."

"When faced with a difficult problem, it will tell you whether to wait or take immediate action."

"Whether you are mages who have just entered the Formal Rank, or mages like me who are still one step away from becoming Legendary, we are all used to using this method to determine our actions."

"This is a unique method of our Astrology School, used by any Astrology School practitioner to guide their actions."

"And I just used such a spell, and it told me that I should wait there quietly..."

"Do nothing."

A moment of silence fell over the room. Ophelia seemed lost in thought, while Tristan, as if struck by a sudden realization, slowly asked:

"Mentor, then why does this spell sometimes instruct you to abandon all other methods when performing a task...?"

Tristan recalled that when he was in the Sun Domain, he had also used the Proxy ability granted by the Star-Engraved Turtle, an ability far more powerful than that of an ordinary First Order Mage.

He then asked the Star Guidance on what to do next.

Of course, the goal of this "how" is not simply to find Fran and state one's demands.

He actually handed the task over directly to Ophelia and even had her use a precious item to disguise Proxy.

His idea was that Ophelia could act as the Alliance's representative to gain Fran's trust.

If he, as the Proxy of another Deity, were to approach Fran, she would likely mistake him for a fraud.

He asked the Stars two questions: First, "I want to help Ophelia find the Proxy of the Lord of Radiance. How should I do that?"

Secondly, how can I most effectively hinder the person who wants to pass this Trial?

This was, after all, a task that the Star-Engraved Turtle had gone to great lengths to propose to him. If Fran disagreed with his suggestion, then he could only rely on the Star-Engraved Turtle's way out.

So at the beginning, he really wanted to complete the mission of the Star-Engraved Turtle.

His two questions eventually received the same answer: he took Ophelia and followed the Proxy team he had encountered for the first time.

Then Fran killed the entire group and sent them all to the Material Realm. To this day, he still hasn't confirmed who attacked them.

Charles, still smiling, explained to Tristan:

"These instructions from the Stars will respond accordingly to your thoughts."

"When you face insurmountable difficulties and want to resist, the Stars will show you how to struggle to the fullest extent..."

"If you're faced with a difficult choice and don't want to make a decision, but instead want to have all the options, then the Stars will also offer advice on this."

"Tristan, you need to understand that it's about what you want to do, and then the Stars will provide what they consider the optimal solution based on what you want to do."

"However, sometimes this optimal solution doesn't necessarily change the outcome of things, and may even make things worse."

"You simply chose the path that maximizes the success rate of your own ideas, not the path that will inevitably bring you closer to success..."

"Thank you, mentor..."

Tristan bowed his head, indicating his gratitude to Charles for explaining.

Charles maintained his smile and then said:

"Then you should all be fine. Everyone else, you can leave now. Ophelia, stay here; I have something to tell you."

Tristan and the mage beside him paused for a moment, then walked out the door without hesitation.

They all knew that it wasn't that they were truly without problems, but rather that Charles was already asking them to leave in a relatively gentle tone.

As for Ophelia, she was Charles's most promising student, so it was normal for him to give Ophelia some instructions on the details of this matter.

The mages present all knew that although Charles had only mentioned Tristan's reward, they, as those who provided assistance in this matter, would also receive some reward.

So they all came out with cheerful expressions, without any intention of lingering.

After everyone else had left, Charles straightened his expression and asked Ophelia a question.

"How is the situation in that region?"

Ophelia raised her head and slowly said:

"There's been no change in the realm itself, except that because someone passed the Trial of the Sun, there's a sign that the number of high-level Profession there has increased."

"Oh! It seems those three Deity aren't planning on doing anything. But even if they send more men, it'll be pointless, because the Alliance has been waiting for this opportunity for far too long..."

Ophelia raised an eyebrow, hesitated for a moment, and then asked the question.

"Mentor, may I ask what our purpose is in occupying that territory?"

Ophelia, along with the mages and Tristan from earlier, didn't actually know why the Alliance had to occupy that territory.

They only knew that this matter would be difficult to achieve because this place was located in the Spirit Realm, but they had no idea what exactly was attracting the Alliance to this place.

"I don't know either, Ophelia. Not only me, none of the mages in the Alliance know this..."

"The Alliance obtained this information from a deceased Legendary of the Astrology School, regarding Legendary final prophecy made a century ago."

"The clue lies within that realm—to something that would be of immense help to the Alliance. Only by conquering that realm can we find this clue through methods such as prophecy."

Ophelia's expression froze for a moment, then she asked:

"So, Professor, do you have any guesses?"

"No, you don't need to ask me anymore. I really don't know what that thing is."

"If I had known, I would have told the mages of the other School long ago. It's not like only the Astrology School is making efforts in this area within the entire the Alliance..."

"But it's too early to say all that. Haven't we already seized an opportunity to explore this?"

Charles smiled.

"Then we'll see what that thing really is, something that has kept our Astrology School striving for nearly a century..."

"However, the ease and smoothness of today's events still exceeded my expectations..."

Charles smoothed his sleeves, as if the day's success had truly exceeded his expectations.

"After hearing that the system had malfunctioned, I thought our transaction would be interrupted, and that we might never be able to contact each other again."

Charles recalled the beginning of the day when he heard about problems within the Law Domain and had a bad feeling that today would bring a defeat.

Because the Law Domain is a masterpiece of the Law School over the past five hundred years, and it is located in the Spirit Realm, it has great strategic value.

Since this territory was designated as the Alliance property, there haven't been many unexpected incidents. I never expected that an accident would happen today.

Even the one who caused the problem was the Proxy of the Lord of Radiance.

"Mentor, perhaps she has mastered some method to impersonate a mage's fluctuations? I remember those Deity always had some strange methods..."

Charles smiled and said slowly:

"That's possible, but it's not very rational to attribute everything to the Deity. Are the things that the Deity can do really so perfect, so flawless?"

"I even feel that she wasn't using the methods taught to her by the Deity, but rather another method that we don't know about."

"However, all of that seems less important, whether her current mage disguise is a response to our previous actions or simply a disguise."

"None of these things are as important as what we're about to do."

"Immediately relay this message to the top three members of the Astrology School, and notify all Astrology School mages of rank three and above."

"We'd better do nothing for now. It wouldn't be good if the Lord of Radiance's Proxy became suspicious and left..."

Ophelia pursed her lips, then continued:

"I will do as you say, as instructed by my mentor."

Charles nodded, then said:

"Then you should go back first. I still need to talk to the person in charge of this Law School later."

After receiving the order, Ophelia left the room, leaving Charles alone inside.

Charles looked at the chair where Fran had just been sitting, a look of confusion on his face.

No one knew better than him how discreetly he used Astrology School magic to probe others' information; his magic was arguably the strongest in the entire the Alliance.

However, even he, when trying to investigate Fran's information, was warned by the Stars that continuing the investigation would not bring good results.

And he had just lied to his disciple, so I couldn't help myself and actually investigated.

He had never seen anyone at such a low level who could elicit a warning from the Stars. Such people were not common even at the Fourth Order, so he was filled with curiosity.

But the answer he finally received shocked him. Although he knew he would get some messy information, it had never been so strange before.

"She will travel to the Alliance's Floating City in the future."

He only received this one piece of information, and upon learning it, a deep unease arose in his heart.

This unease made this Astrology School mage very uncomfortable. He knew that when this unease appeared, it was mostly a sign that something bad was about to happen.

"Perhaps I should have the Alliance's Floating City. It's possible that this Proxy of the Lord of Radiance will destroy a Floating City in the future, but it could also bring disaster..."

He clenched his teeth, but his unease showed no sign of abating.
