A Mountain of Gold Coins
Fran returned to the Radiance Domain with the credentials she had brought back from the Law Domain.
The moment she opened her eyes, she heard the clinking sound of Gold Coin colliding, which filled her with joy.
She turned to look at the place behind her, where the Spirit Crystal had been placed, now replaced by a small mountain of Gold Coin. The Gold Coin, unable to maintain their balance on top, had fallen off.
Fran simply picked up a Gold Coin, glanced at it briefly, and knew that it was a brand-new Gold Coin issued by the Alliance.
She wasn't worried about counterfeit coins being mixed in with the Gold Coin, because the contract clearly stipulated the Gold Coin design that the Alliance needed to recognize, and that no Gold Coin could have significant wear and tear.
However, she also knew that these Gold Coin were actually obtained by exchanging Spirit Crystal, and were only slightly related to their cooperation.
Fran happened to have a large number of unused Spirit Crystal on hand, and since the Alliance might need a large quantity of Spirit Crystal for some project, she exchanged them at this price.
In general, even without this collaboration, the Alliance would still have come knocking on their door. After all, the Alliance has a rather bad reputation in the Spirit Realm, and apart from Fran, it seems no one would be willing to trade with them.
Furthermore, this price is quite a good deal for the Alliance's projects; exchanging 100 grams of Spirit Crystal for 1 Gold Coin is a very favorable price.
However, Fran is satisfied with the current situation. She can treat the other conditions of the Alliance as additional conditions, including the exchange list promised by the Alliance, military support, and so on.
Even after conquering that territory, Fran considered the Spoils of War she received as mere extras.
For Fran and even the entire Sect of the Lord of Radiance, what they need most right now is a large sum of money that they can't possibly spend.
The Antir Region doesn't have everything; she still needs to buy some things to develop Antir Region. Of course, it's a bit early to talk about that now; she doesn't even have complete control over the White Flower Territory yet.
In her excitement, Fran finally remembered the last words the Lord of Radiance spoke after leaving the necklace.
"Come find me at the Divine Temple when you return."
Fran raised an eyebrow. She knew that the Lord of Radiance Lord of Radiance remained silent during negotiations because every word he spoke within the necklace consumed a portion of his Divine Power.
Fran wasn't surprised by this. After all, a method like this, where Fran could simply wear something and have the Lord of Radiance transmit information to her, seemed far better than that book.
But the fact that the Lord of Radiance only gave a book and not the necklace at the beginning is enough to explain the problem.
Fran pushed open the Divine Temple door and saw the Divine Statue of the Lord of Radiance glowing faintly; He was waiting inside the Divine Statue.
As Fran entered, the voice of the Lord of Radiance followed.
"You don't need to get involved in this matter for now. I'll send someone over later. Just wait here when the Alliance attacks that region, just in case."
Then the Lord of Radiance paused for a moment, and then began to talk about the Material Realm.
"You've done very well lately. My faith in the Material Realm has expanded rapidly. If you can increase the number of these believers to four times what it is now, I can grant you second-tier power in the Material Realm."
Fran didn't respond immediately. Instead, she looked at her own Panel. After Aila and the others expanded their faith to the entire Snow Bear Territory, she, as one of the initial believers, had also benefited.
[Profession: Radiant Priest (1.5 stars)]
Her Radiant Priest rose by half a star, but nothing else changed. Her attributes were already too high to be improved at all, and her traits remained the same two.
"If I can reach the second tier of Radiant Priest, I estimate I'll gain four or five points to my Spirit attribute..."
This wasn't difficult for Fran, because that's what she was doing now—a hands-off manager who let her followers help her expand her faith, and all she had to do was create a good environment for missionary work.
The population of the entire Antir Region is naturally larger than that of the Snow Bear Territory. Putting aside other factors, Fran feels that the population of the White Flower Territory alone is probably four times that of the Snow Bear Territory.
The population difference between warm regions and cold regions like the Northern Territory is still quite significant.
Fran turned her gaze to the Divine Statue of the Lord of Radiance, and then slowly said:
"Oh, by the way, there's something I need you to do..."
"What is it...?"
"As you know, in the Material Realm right now, besides me, there don't seem to be any other Profession with Formal Rank..."
Aila originally had the opportunity to become Profession of another Formal Rank in the Material Realm, but there were too many people who wanted to become Profession.
Aila's energy is limited, and with other believers also spreading the faith, she is still some distance away from becoming a Formal Rank Profession.
But at this time, there weren't so many people left in Snow Bear Territory; she could hardly find any believers who could be easily converted.
"I need a Formal Rank follower in the Material Realm as an assistant to help me focus my power on that Aila."
The Profession level of a professional at the Formal Rank is different from that of a dozen or so apprentice -Order Profession. A dozen or so apprentice -Order Profession can all achieve the same result with a little effort and by disseminating the methods.
The Profession that one has reached Formal Rank indicates that they have mastered a somewhat useful path to advancement.
In many parts of the mainland, a First Order Profession can be considered a local tyrant.
Even in the Alliance, one of the most powerful forces on the continent, the status of First Order Profession is still quite good.
The large number of apprentice -Order Profession trained through the Alliance's education system are considered quite powerful, even if they can serve as guards in a town.
It is conceivable that the role of a Formal Rank Profession in the early days of the Radiant Sect was far greater than that of bringing dozens of people to the apprentice Profession.
"Also, could you grant me permission in the Material Realm to promote a believer to the apprentice-level Profession?"
The Divine Statue pondered for a moment, then spoke.
"Yes, it's not difficult."
Fran breathed a sigh of relief. The things she mentioned were resources that, if possessed during the development of the Sect Sect, could greatly accelerate its growth.
Then she shook her head and thought for a moment, feeling that there was nothing left to ask. Just as she was about to walk away, she heard a voice coming from the Divine Statue behind her.
"Fran, you need to hurry up."
Fran sensed the urgency in the Lord of Radiance's words and wondered what was wrong.
The sigh of the Lord of Radiance came from the Divine Statue.
"My Divine Power is insufficient, or rather, the Divine Power I can project is insufficient."
"If you don't quickly build up a sufficient number of believers in the Material Realm so that my Divine Statue can communicate with you Material Realm, then the Radiance Domain might be discovered by others..."
Fran frowned upon hearing this. She knew exactly how large the number of believers the Lord of Radiance spoke of was; it was roughly enough to allow her to reach the second tier in the Material Realm.
How much time do we have left?
"About three months, I guess. Lately, there have been a lot more Deity targeting me, and I can't even bring back any Block from outside anymore..."
Fran breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this. If the Radiance Domain wasn't safe, many of her plans would be difficult to carry out, so she absolutely didn't want the Radiance Domain to be exposed.
Three months is more than enough time for Fran to expand her followers; she even feels that she could accomplish this in a little over a month.
"That's alright, we have plenty of time. Just pass on anything to me through that book."
After Fran finished speaking, seeing that the Divine Statue of the Lord of Radiance did not react, she simply closed the Divine Temple door and left.
After Fran left, the laughter of the Lord of Radiance came from inside the Divine Statue; in fact, He had just lied to Fran.
His current Divine Power could sustain the entire Radiance Domain for another year or two, but to encourage Fran, He told a little lie.
"Time is moving too slowly. At this point in time, none of my subordinates have even produced a third-tier Profession."
As long as Fran prevents Him from transmitting messages through Divine Statue in the Material Realm, He will be unable to elevate Lyle to the third rank in the Spirit Realm.
Therefore, He had to use special means to slightly 'motivate' Fran.
He knew Fran was already very fast, but He also knew that Fran could go even faster.
Inside Iris's room in the Mage Tower, a strange hand knocked on the door.
"Who are you?" Iris looked at the newcomer—a woman dressed in white robes who didn't look like a mage.
"It's me, the Society President."
Fran didn't keep Iris in suspense; as soon as her voice rang out, Iris immediately recognized who the woman in front of her was.
"Fran? What happened to you?"
Iris stepped forward and pinched Fran's body, finding that her body had almost no flaws.
"This is Talent I received from the Spirit Realm..."
Fran told a little lie, but her method did indeed come from the Spirit Realm.
After leaving the Spirit Realm, Fran suddenly had a thought: since she had this book in her hands, did that mean she could also have the same body she had in the Spirit Realm?
After some experimentation, she discovered another switch in the book: by turning to a certain page and placing her hand on it, she could change bodies.
"You're going to go to Antir with this appearance?" Iris asked thoughtfully, looking at Fran's body. She knew that because of the Spirit Realm, the body looked real.
She knew Fran was going to Antir Region again when Fran submitted her application; they had already discussed this.
"By the way, what identity will you use to go to the Antir Region?" She knew that if Fran used this body to go to Antir, she could avoid some trouble.
After all, the Antir Region is quite close to the Alliance, and Fran didn't really try to hide herself when she arrived at the Northern Lands Society. If someone were to investigate, they might actually be able to connect Fran's name with her appearance...
"Let's call Lai." Fran used her usual pseudonym.
