The problem was that Fran had not appeared within the sect for a long time. Even on the few occasions when she had acted on the Lord of Radiance's orders, hardly any believers had seen her.
On top of that, a shortage of manpower had forced them to recruit more residents, along with people drawn from the domains they had seized, to serve as the sect's administrators.
This further weakened Fran's influence within the sect, though she did not really care. She had intended to keep her distance from the sect in the Spirit Realm all along.
After all, her main occupation was still being a mage of the Alliance. That title was better, however one looked at it, than working under some obscure deity whose reputation in the Spirit Realm was not particularly good.
That was why she had only developed the Radiant Sect in the Material Realm. After gaining the rank of Spirit Realm Mage, she had stopped involving herself in Spirit Realm affairs altogether.
