Laibo's magical abilities were not ideal.

He was a new apprentice in the Elemental School, and unlike the other apprentices, he came from a well-off family.

His parents were both Formal Mage of the Elemental School, which allowed him to receive substantial financial support from a young age to learn magic or purchase equipment.

The only drawback is that his parents have quite a few children, and if he doesn't achieve good results soon, his future financial support may have to be reduced to a meager fifty silver coins per month to barely make ends meet.

His parents would give the money to the children who had better grades and wouldn't waste their time on him.

This filled him with a sense of urgency from the very first day he arrived in the City of Apprentices, fearing that his parents would abandon him.

However, his magical Talent was quite disappointing; his magical level could only barely rank in the middle among the apprentices of the Elemental School.

That day, Laibo walked into the [Best Weapon Shop] club dejectedly and greeted Keliqi.

"Boss... is the Artisan who made the ring with the spell focus still healed? I'd like to order one."

Laibo had just lost a mage duel at the School's headquarters. His opponent's spells were fast and accurate, which was a blow to Lieber, who was generally a step slower than others when casting spells.

After much thought, he could only resort to the old method: buying equipment.

Unlike those highly Talent apprentices who would buy knowledge and magic if they had money, he knew his own limitations and knew that buying those things would not be of much use to him.

Therefore, he invested all his money in purchasing equipment, and with his high-level equipment, he was able to secure a place for himself within the Elemental School.

At this point, you might ask, why buy so much equipment if you don't have magical Talent? Since you can't become Formal Mage anyway, you might as well spend the money elsewhere.

But Laibo knew that his parents were very busy with work and only cared about results, especially if he could get a good ranking in the assessment.

Then the parents' financial support will be extended to seven or eight years later, because he will have achieved results, and then he can use that extra money for whatever he wants.

However, he also has a deep understanding of equipment and knows which combinations can maximize his combat power.

Now, this spell focus ring is one of the few pieces of equipment that can still significantly improve his abilities, and he asks about it every week.

"That Artisan hasn't come to my place yet, and I don't know what's wrong with him."

Keliqi shook his head and said.

Laibo sighed again and looked through the list of Artisan who could provide services, to see if there was anything he needed.

At this point, Keliqi tentatively said:

"Laibo ...you can take a look at the first Artisan on page seven; he might be able to help you."

Upon hearing Keliqi's words, Laibo immediately turned to page seven; he had great faith in the boss's reputation.

But when he turned to the seventh page, he was filled with doubt and said:

"This person only makes basic equipment. They don't have the kind of equipment that helps with spell casting that I need. Why would they recommend this?"

Keliqi quickly realized what was happening and corrected him:

"You're mistaken, that's the second person. The first one is still up there."

It was only then that Laibo realized that because the first Artisan's introduction was too short, she occupied a very small space on the paper, which was why he had confused her.

"This is way too small. The second one is four times longer than hers..."

"Sorry, I made a mistake. I'll correct it later."

Keliqi spent the whole night thinking about this Spell Ring request, trying to figure out how to do it well, but ended up making a mistake on the most basic layout.

Only then did Laibo take a closer look at the introduction, which was very brief, with the rest being the specific pricing details.

"Spell Ring can be commissioned... Spell Ring!!" Laibo exclaimed in surprise.

He immediately looked up at Keliqi and asked:

"Boss, are you sure this is real? The Spell Ring has arrived?!"

Keliqi replied with a smile:

"I did see her inscribe a spell into a spell Gem. As for whether it's true or not, why don't you try it and see?"

Laibo frowned, deep in thought.

Logically, commissions for Spell Ring shouldn't appear here. Those Artisan have a monopoly on the supply chain; they know that even if you have money, you'll still have to wait in line.

Therefore, Laibo never considered this aspect, because he didn't have the power to get these Artisan to cut in line and make Spell Ring for him.

Perhaps his parents will help him after he wins a prize, but by then he might not need it anymore.

Looking at the unusual prices on the price list only deepened Laibo's suspicions. Were they trying to scam me with such low prices?

He looked up at Keliqi, Keliqi nodded at him, and all his worries vanished.

He knew Keliqi's character; if he didn't achieve good results this time, Keliqi would definitely compensate him for his losses.

"Then let's give it a try," he thought.

"Go to the house across the street, the first room on the second floor, the place that Artisan rented. She should be there."

Laibo reached the door, knocked, and then pushed the door open and went inside.

He saw a scene that puzzled him greatly: a girl in a long robe was writing and drawing on a large table. Papers covered the entire table, almost every sheet was filled with writing, and they were scattered haphazardly on the table, making it hard to believe that she could find the one she needed.

Fran saw him come in and said:

"Are you here to cast Spell Ring?"

Laibo frowned as he looked at Fran, whose appearance was so different from that of Artisan, and after a while, he said:

"Yes, I need to make a ring with the Fireball, but I don't have the materials."

Fran clapped her hands and said:

"Alright, you stand here and wait for my command to cast Fireball."

Laibo followed her finger to the circle on the ground. Although he had many doubts in his mind, he decided to keep them to himself and try it out first.

He watched Fran manipulate the spell Gem in the air with her Telekinetic Hand, and after a while, Fran finally spoke:

"Alright, cast the spell."

Laibo performed his not-so-smooth spellcasting, and a large fireball appeared in his hand. However, it was clear that his fireball was not a perfect sphere, but rather had many dents.

After releasing the fireball, Laibo felt something pulling at his palm, but he deliberately didn't use his Mental Power to resist it.

Three seconds later, the fireball in his hand disappeared, and as Laibo turned around, Fran put the ring into her pocket.

"If you fail, try again."

Laibo had no doubts; failure was normal, after all, he had heard that Artisan often failed.

They tried twice more. On the second attempt, Fran placed the ring on the table, and on the third attempt, they finally succeeded.

The originally yellow Spell Crystal turned red and exploded at the center, creating a beautiful gradient.
