"That's it?"

Laibo looked at the ring on his hand in disbelief. Before entering the room, he thought his chances of getting this Spell Ring were 10%, but it turned out to be true.

"It's basically finished. If you want additional services, such as faster cooldowns, or special attributes like synergistic casting or instant cast, those are separate paid services."

Laibo swallowed hard, then handed the ring back to Fran, saying:

"Give me a cooldown speed boost and a synergistic casting buff."

"A total of four Gold Coin."

Without hesitation, Laibo took four Gold Coin from his ornately decorated purse and slammed them onto the table.

Fran took on these extra services to disguise herself as a genuine Artisan.

Otherwise, it would be difficult to avoid arousing suspicion if she were to inscribe spells for others. Offering extra services would allow her to disguise herself as a Artisan simply charges low fees.

These extra services took a while; it was about half an hour before Fran finally handed over the ring.

Now, the ring has tiny runes on it, and you can vaguely see floating rune characters inside the Gem. Other than that, it's no different from before.

Laibo looked at the glowing Spell Ring, put it on his hand, wrapped it around his finger, and then cast Fireball as usual.

He had already cast Fireball many times today and felt mentally exhausted, but after putting on this ring, he felt that casting Fireball was much smoother than usual.

"This is coordinated spellcasting!" He could feel its real effect.

This is another use for Spell Ring; after special treatment, they can help the user cast spells and enhance their power.

A fireball larger than before appeared, and this time he could clearly feel how solid it was, with the Fire Element tightly bound together within it.

He had never cast a spell so smoothly before, nor had he ever had such a high degree of control over a spell.

He canceled the Fireball, looked at the ring on his hand whose light had dimmed, and then at the other few fingers that were still bare, and an idea came to him.

He removed the spirit-enhancing ring from his other hand; he had already sensed that it wasn't working when using the Spell Ring.

Now, he no longer needs the faint Mental Power boost provided by the ring.

"I want to make six more Fireball rings."

He glanced at the empty ring slots on his hand. He had a protective ring and a physique-enhancing ring that he couldn't remove, and it seemed he didn't have much money left, so he could only make six for now.

Fran's face immediately fell; she hadn't expected anyone to make so many identical rings. However, she quickly changed her mind and agreed to the commission.

"Oh well, I'll just consider it making some money today," she thought to herself.

Once she finishes making these Fireball rings, she can close up shop. She doesn't have that much Mental Power to waste on making rings; she still needs to write her book.

Fran sighed and took out the materials from under the table.

Laibo returned to the Elemental School ' headquarters and went straight to the apprentice who had easily defeated him earlier that day.

"Bang! Bang!" The apprentice's door was knocked so hard it almost jumped up. The force of the knocking made the door recoil slightly before bouncing back with a 'clattering' sound.

After a long while, Jielin finally opened the door. He had dark circles under his eyes, looked slightly tired, and had an undisguised excitement on his face, but he seemed unhappy about being disturbed and kept frowning.

What are you doing here?

Jielin said coldly that he was reading a spellbook he had just bought and was planning to read it until late at night, but someone had disturbed him and ruined his mood.

With a smile, Laibo slowly said:

"Let's have another match. This time I'm ready."

Jielin was somewhat puzzled, but said nonchalantly:

"Oh? Another round? Did you buy a Pyroblast spell scroll to blow me up?"

Jielin wasn't particularly interested in the opponent he'd defeated effortlessly that morning. In his opinion, the opponent's combat prowess relied entirely on his equipment, and his magic was still developing.

"Could it be that they're too scared? Are they really that afraid of my new equipment?!"

Laibo said with a smile, but Jamie, being a hot-blooded young man, naturally couldn't stand such provocation.

"Then let's have another match! This time I'll show you that mages fight using spells, and your trash is useless!"

He couldn't stand this person who flaunted his equipment in the Duel Arena all day long, even though he himself believed that magic was the foundation of a mage's existence.

He was in good financial shape, but he spent all his money on spells and related spellbooks, and he couldn't even bear to repair the door that he had accidentally damaged a few months ago by experimenting with spells.

Some time later, the two appeared in the Duel Arena. By then, it was already dark, and only a few broken lamps were still lit, providing dim illumination.

It wasn't until Jielin and Laibo were standing at a considerable distance that he noticed something reflecting light on the other's hand.

Upon closer inspection, it became clear that Laibo's hands were almost entirely covered in rings, six of which were adorned with large Gem.

Jielin doesn't usually like to look into these kinds of equipment. If it were someone else, they would easily have noticed that these are six Spell Ring! Only Spell Ring require large Gem.

"Playing tricks!" Jielin scoffed. "You think you can defeat me with a few decorations? No way!"

"Start!"

After the duel began, Jielin quickly cast a fire shield on himself. He knew that his opponent's few spells were all fire-based, so a fire shield with high resistance to fire damage was perfect for dealing with Laibo.

Sure enough, the opponent threw a fireball that hit his fire shield directly, causing it to tremble as if it were about to disintegrate.

"It was indeed Fireball." Jielin was pleased with his prediction of the opponent's spell, but at the same time, he also had some doubts.

Why is this Fireball a bit more powerful than before? This morning, his fire shield almost disappeared after blocking this attack.

Also, he's casting Fireball much faster this time. He cast it right after he finished casting Fire Shield, whereas this morning it would have taken him two seconds longer to cast Fireball.

Before he could even wonder what was happening, another Fireball was launched at him. He had no choice but to abandon the attack spell he was preparing and instead use his Mental Power to strengthen his fire shield.

After the fireball exploded, flames covered the ground around him, and even through the fire shield, Jielin could feel the heat.

How could he be so fast?

The question flashed through his mind, but he didn't dwell on it, because he saw two fireballs rushing towards him from the left and right.

"I surrender." He said instinctively, desperate to save his life.
