Fran led the takeover of Monsa City’s temple, rallied its people, and killed Quentin before the dream collapsed. She returned to the Material Realm with a new dragon talent and later told Harbos she had become a Formal Mage.

• Ailante and the Spirit Realm Travelers hid from their pursuers while Fran and Velint raided the Divine Revelation Hall and stole the ingredients for Dragon-Transformation Potion.
• Fran made the potion, and Una and Velint drank it, gaining dragonlike traits and joining Fran’s effort against the priests.
• Fran’s group seized the Grand Divine Temple, defeated Angmar, and learned that the High Priest planned to transform into a dragon and destroy Monsa.
• Fran restored the Divine Statue, gained the Radiant Priest profession and the Lord of Radiance’s blessing, then rallied Monsa’s people against the false god.
• Quentin transformed into a dragon and attacked Monsa, but Fran and the half-dragons wounded and killed him with ballistae and a sword of light.
• The Spirit Realm trial ended, and Fran gained Dragon Bone Embodiment and took Quentin’s dragon flame ability before returning to her body.
• Two months later, Fran told Harbos she had become a Formal Mage, startling him at his workshop.

Fran joined the Northern Lands Society, learned ancient runes, and set out for the Antir Region while strengthening Black Horse. After killing the Earth Dragon and earning the Monster Hunter Profession, she continued toward the Northern Lands as Connor pursued her.

• Harbos confirmed Fran had advanced to Formal Mage through her own mental strength and offered to recommend her to the Yobner Society, but Fran chose the Northern Lands Society.
• Fran taught the Forge School apprentices how to make and use a rifled gun, then left Loderis and bought a Highland Black Horse for her journey.
• On the road to Gede Town, Fran used a rune-inscribed short sword to defeat black wolves and stopped Kate from escaping the town guards.
• Fran found Raymond, bought his battered rune book, and began studying its complex runes, including one she suspected represented the Ancient Rune of [Weight].
• At Caleb Walker’s estate, Fran bested Daphne and Zeno in a sword-grip duel and won a Territory Token, while Caleb made plans to have Zeno killed.
• Fran engraved the Lord of Radiance’s likeness on her longsword and strengthened Black Horse with materials from a Forest Sprite and a Gale Rabbit.
• Fran challenged the Earth Dragon despite Oliver’s objections, then killed it with an empowered rune-inscribed slash that cracked her sword.
• Caleb gave Connor Fran’s records and a Tracking Bug, and Connor pursued her toward the Northern Territory Pass as Fran returned to Gede Town and earned the Monster Hunter Profession.

Fran strengthened her sword arts, helped expose Caleb as Zeno Harper’s murderer, and traveled to White Flower Territory to investigate the glowing Territory Token. There she joined Finley’s bid for lordship, won the first knightly duel, and prepared to face Ryan’s allies despite their attempts to hinder her.

• Fran exchanged for the Gale Swordsman and Sunflame Knight methods, reforged her longsword with special metals, and learned through Divination Art that a dangerous encounter lay more than a month ahead.
• Fran gave Dante information linking Caleb to Zeno Harper’s death, and Caleb’s attempt to escape ended with Fran incapacitating him and Dante ordering his detention.
• After training in Gede Town, Fran left with the Territory Token and found that it glowed in White Flower Territory.
• Fran entered White Flower City in disguise, defeated soldiers who challenged her, and agreed to serve as Finley’s attendant in the knightly duel.
• Fran and Finley defeated Eric, Cliff, and their allies in the first duel, and Fran declined Count Ian’s offer to join Duke Theodore’s order of knights.
• Finley explained that a knight’s power depended on support from a lord or territory, and Fran declined his offer of a promotion slot.
• The nobles backed Ryan and turned the arena muddy while using Rain Prayer scrolls to weaken Fran’s Sunflame Arts, but Stefan’s iron tube dropped Ryan’s attendants and Fran’s sword blazed red beneath the dark sky.

Fran reached the Northern Lands Society, learned its research system, and used careful experimentation to improve a refining device. After submitting a paper on Fireball mathematics and earning recognition for her discovery, she left her manuscript awaiting review.

• Fran defeated Connor and the Blood Wolf Knights at the Northern Territory Pass, destroyed the transmitter in Connor’s tent, and rode north.
• Fran met Dorian in Snowfang Town and learned that Harbos Roins’s new Elemental Conversion method had drawn mages to the Northern Lands Society.
• Fran arrived at the Society, met President Iris, and agreed to join Mage Philip’s project while registering for the Mana Communication System as Lai.
• Fran studied the Society’s research rules and wrote a paper measuring how Fireball’s volume related to the mental power used to cast it.
• Fran joined Philip’s project and sealed a refining device with Soul-Repelling Copper, preventing spirits from escaping and greatly increasing its White Star Sand yield.
• Philip confirmed Fran’s discovery, promised to list her first on the results, and said it could win the Silver Alchemy Award.
• Fran submitted her Fireball paper, and Alaric began reviewing it despite his doubts about its title.
