Kamizuki fell into a long, long dream while unconscious.

In the dream, the first thing to appear was an old man with a long beard, sporting two horns on his head that looked somewhat like those of an antelope.

Without a word, the old man poked Kamizuki on the forehead with his finger, and simultaneously, a scene appeared in his mind, playing out just like a movie.

The scene playing in Kamizuki's mind was as follows:

A woman who seemed to come from another planet descended from the sky. Her name was Otsutsuki Kaguya. After she became pregnant with the child of Tenji, the lord of the Land of Ancestors, she stole and ate the fruit of the God Tree, gaining immense power. Using this power, she cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi to quell the wars single-handedly.

Rumor had it that "Princess Kaguya was an 'ascetic' who could only conceive a child due to the blessings of the people of the Land of Ancestors."

After pacifying the wars, Princess Kaguya gave birth to two children: the eldest son, named Hagoromo Otsutsuki (the future Sage of Six Paths), and the second son, named Hamura Otsutsuki.

After giving birth, Princess Kaguya gradually became greedy, wanting to keep the entire world under her control forever.

One day, after they had grown up, Hagoromo and Hamura arrived at a place called the Cliff of the End to investigate the fate of those who had gone to offer sacrifices to the God Tree and never returned. Later, they went to Mount Myoboku and found Gamamaru to learn about the past of their mother and the God Tree.

From then on, Hagoromo and Hamura began to feel resentment toward their mother, Princess Kaguya.

Later, the two brothers fought a great battle against their mother. During the fight, the younger brother, Hamura, was controlled by their mother. Hagoromo was forced to kill his controlled brother, but he later used the Rinne Tensei technique to resurrect him. In the end, the two brothers worked together to seal their mother, Princess Kaguya, inside the moon using the Six Paths: Chibaku Tensei.

After sealing their mother, the elder brother, Hagoromo Otsutsuki, remained in the Land of Ancestors to spread the way of the ninja and teach people various ninjutsu, eventually becoming known as the Sage of Six Paths.

As for the younger brother, Hamura Otsutsuki, after being appointed as the patriarch of the Otsutsuki clan by his brother, his duty became to go to the moon and watch over their mother, Princess Kaguya, within her seal.

Thus, Hamura left one descendant behind to be raised by his brother, and then he took all the members of the Otsutsuki clan to live on the moon.

The vision ended there. The moment it concluded, Kamizuki opened his eyes. The pair of eyes he opened were no longer his previous Byakugan; instead, they were a pair of eyes resembling the full moon.

Kamizuki shook his head, which was overwhelmed by the influx of information, and climbed up from the ground. After he stood up, he blinked naturally. When he opened his eyes again, his moon-like eyes had reverted to his original Byakugan.

Of course, Kamizuki was unaware of these events.

Kamizuki did not know when he had awakened from the dream. After waking, he looked around at his surroundings and was shocked to discover that, somehow, he had returned to his own room.

Just as he was struggling to recall how he had returned to his room, Hiashi pushed the door open with a look of worry on his face.

Upon entering, Hiashi realized that Kamizuki had already regained consciousness and hurried over to his tatami mat.

He asked urgently, "Yue-er, what happened to you? What on earth occurred?"

Hearing Hiashi's inquiry, Kamizuki still felt a bit disoriented, and he let out a dazed "Uh."

Seeing that he was absent-minded, Hiashi did not press him further, only urging him to get more rest before leaving.

Later, Kamizuki learned from Hinata that the day after their mother's funeral, he had gone missing for an entire day. After he disappeared, Hiashi had dispatched almost every member of the clan to search for him, but after searching for a whole night, they found nothing. Just as the clansmen were returning, exhausted, to report to Hiashi, those who reached the main gate discovered Kamizuki lying unconscious in front of it.

No one knew how he had returned to the gate.

The day after Kamizuki woke up, Hiashi came to his room again, sat on the tatami mat, and stared at Kamizuki's face without saying a word.

Being stared at by Hiashi, Kamizuki felt a little bit of fear and guilt, though he didn't know why.

He felt it was better not to tell Hiashi about the dream, especially since he himself wasn't sure if these things were a dream or reality.

Kamizuki made up a lie about what happened before he went missing and passed out to brush Hiashi off.

Hiashi wore an expression of complete disbelief, continuing to stare at him.

Seeing that look, Kamizuki could only awkwardly scratch the back of his head and give Hiashi a silly smile.

Seeing that Kamizuki was hiding something from him, Hiashi did not continue to press him, instead instructing Kamizuki to rest at home for a few days, as school was about to start soon.

During these two days of recovery, his eldest sister, Hinata, brought Hanabi to Kamizuki's room every day to keep him company.

Kamizuki noticed that Hinata had lost a bit of weight over the past two days. It was no wonder; having just gone through the death of their mother and then discovering her brother was missing—only to find him unconscious later—had left the young Hinata feeling physically and mentally exhausted.

Looking at Hinata like this, Kamizuki felt a pang of heartache, feeling truly sorry for making her worry so much.

With a sincere look in his eyes, Kamizuki said to Hinata very earnestly, "I'm sorry, I made you worry these past two days."

Hinata was made shy by Kamizuki's gaze, her little face turning bright red, and she whispered, "It's okay!"

The two siblings shared a smile. Suddenly, Hinata seemed to remember something. After an "Ah!" she realized she had been a bit uncomposed, and she gave Kamizuki an awkward smile. "I forgot to tell you, starting this semester, I'm going to start attending the Ninja Academy too."

After hearing this, Kamizuki let out an "Oh" and felt happy for Hinata, but before long, he felt that something was not quite right.

He thought about it and realized that in the original story, it seemed like Hinata and Naruto didn't start school until they were six or seven years old!

Why was Hinata entering the Konoha Ninja School now, when she had just turned five?

Kamizuki was a rather lazy person in some respects. For instance, in a situation like this, when he encountered something he couldn't figure out, he simply wouldn't waste his energy or brain cells thinking about it any further.
