Jiang Che paced back and forth alone in his room. The task looked simple, but figuring out how to complete it properly was a little troublesome.

"Hey, I've got it!" Jiang Che slapped his forehead, suddenly coming up with an idea.

Jiang Che arrived at the Outer Court. Many Shrek students had already changed into their uniforms and were getting ready to head to class.

The doors to the white teaching building stood open. The new students filed inside, dressed in the white uniforms they had just received. Each one had the green Little Monster emblem representing Shrek Academy on the left side of their chest.

Jiang Che followed the new students into the building. Without a uniform, he stood out from the crowd like a crane among chickens.

On the first floor, in the first classroom on the left, Jiang Che spotted the sign for Class One. He didn't hurry inside, but waited for the right moment.

Every student in Class One who arrived after Jiang Che mistook him for their homeroom teacher. One after another, they greeted him of their own accord.

But once they entered the classroom, something felt off. They remembered their homeroom teacher was a woman.

A little while later, the bell rang, and Huo Yuhao hurried over.

He had meant to head straight into the classroom, but when he saw Jiang Che, he stopped and said, "Good morning, senior!"

Huo Yuhao clearly remembered Bei Bei's introduction from the day before.

Huo Yuhao entered the classroom. The spacious room was already packed.

After a lot of trouble, Huo Yuhao found an empty seat. Beside it sat a rather pretty, but haughty, young girl.

Huo Yuhao was about to ask a couple more questions, but just then, an elderly woman entered through the classroom door.

She held her back ramrod straight and reached the podium in only a few steps. There was no doubt: she was the teacher of Freshman Class One.

Only then did the students who had greeted Jiang Che finally realize they'd mistaken him for someone else.

"My name is Zhou Yi. I'll be your homeroom teacher for the coming year. I can't say how many of you will make it to the end."

"But I'll tell you this: in my class, no trash will pass the assessments. I'm here to train monsters, not fools."

Quite a few students below looked indignant at Zhou Yi's words. She naturally noticed their reactions, but didn't care in the least.

"Also, Shrek Academy is making a small change to its teaching methods this year. Our class will be the first to try it. If it works well, it'll be introduced across the entire academy."

"Teacher, what kind of change?" someone asked as soon as Zhou Yi finished speaking.

Zhou Yi glanced at the student who'd asked. A hint of approval showed in her eyes.

"Good question!" Zhou Yi shifted her gaze toward the classroom door. "Jiang Che, come in and introduce yourself to your classmates!"

The other students also looked curiously toward the door. Then they saw Jiang Che walk in calmly and stop beside Zhou Yi.

As they watched Jiang Che, he discreetly observed Huo Yuhao and the others.

Huo Yuhao looked rather astonished, while Wang Dong and Xiao Xiao seemed curious.

Taking in their expressions, Jiang Che's lips curled into a faint smile. He raised a hand and casually waved to the class. "Hello, everyone. My name is Jiang Che. I graduated from the Inner Court last year, and the academy specially appointed me as an assistant teacher this year. I'll be helping Teacher Zhou Yi teach you for the next year."

Nice try, making me leave a deep impression on them. I'll just be their teacher outright. Now that's an impression they won't forget.
