Uchiha's Informant

Before Amada had even made it home, the Root ninja wearing a fox mask appeared silently before him.

"Lord Danzo wants to see you."

Amada nodded without saying much and silently followed Red Fox toward Root's secret base.

Soon, Amada was led deep into Root's base.

In the dim room, Danzo looked at him approvingly.

"Uchiha Amada, you did well this time. I wasn't wrong about you. You really are an outstanding young man."

Amada replied calmly, "It was my duty."

Danzo smiled faintly.

"You've proven your worth. Now I can tell you why I wanted you to join Root."

Amada's heart tightened slightly. He had indeed always wanted to know.

He was just an ordinary Uchiha Genin, not even a genius. Why had Danzo personally recruited him into Root?

Danzo spoke slowly.

"I investigated you. Your parents were merely ordinary Chunin of the Uchiha Clan. After they died, the Uchiha Clan gave you no special treatment or care. To them, you're insignificant."

Amada remained calm as he listened.

Those words meant little to him. After all, he hadn't known the original owner's parents.
