That seemed true. Bone Lord could only shrug helplessly. What else could he say? He had to swallow the consequences of his own sins, even if it made him cry.
They approached the bounty board and saw many unfamiliar faces among the portraits. "The bounty notices have been updated again."
Hyuga Mokujin said, "Let's see whether our bounties went up."
Bone Lord said, "Hmm—there wasn't much of an increase. More accurately, they seemed to have gone down."

The manager in charge of this area had remained wary ever since he saw Bone Lord and Mokujin enter.
It wasn't as though idiots wearing white masks hadn't come to impersonate Genkyo members while they were gone, but without exception, every one of them had died horribly.

As for why Bone Lord and Mokujin's bounties had dropped, it was entirely because the people funding those bounties had been killed. Although no one knew who had done it yet, the blame had still been pinned on Genkyo.
With the Five Great Nations seemingly holding back out of caution and taking no action for the time being, their bounties would probably remain at this level—unless Bone Lord and Mokujin went and made another batch of enemies.
