"Hmm? Kabuto?" Orochimaru looked puzzled, as though he were recalling something. In reality, however, he was trying to work out why Uchiha Gen had asked.
First he had talked about preventing the dead from returning to the world of the living, and now he had brought up Kabuto. Connecting the two, Orochimaru narrowed his eyes and unconsciously licked his lips. So this supposed "resurrection" of the dead meant Impure World Reincarnation?
But that raised another question. Although Kabuto was his assistant, he did not actually know Impure World Reincarnation. Moreover, its current technical limitations prevented the caster from controlling too many people at once. What about this technique could possibly make Genkyo nervous?
