A coincidence?
Tobirama looked at Kakashi, who had collapsed under a genjutsu. For some reason, he felt that if he asked that question now, the brat would probably give him some excuse about using genjutsu instead of anesthesia.
Just then, Konoha's Anbu arrived on the scene. What greeted them, however, was Kakashi lying unconscious with blood all over his face, and an extremely dangerous individual crouching in front of him, apparently fiddling with something, his hands covered in blood!
Their hearts sank at the sight, and their vigilance instantly peaked. "Stop!"
Hearing the commotion beside him, Uchiha Gen avoided any sudden movements that might provoke them. Instead, he slowly turned around to show that he meant no harm. "You've got it wrong. Hear me out first! Wait, you, stop! No sneak attacks. Yes, I see you! And you too!"
"All right, looks like you don't want to listen. Yes, I spotted you again! This isn't what you think. I'm one of the good guys. I want to see the Hokage!"
After a chaotic commotion, two Anbu members finally helped Kakashi to the hospital. As for Uchiha Gen, the highly suspicious and dangerous individual, he was escorted to the Interrogation Department, where Tsunade arrived in time to bail him out.
As for why Hashirama and Tobirama weren't there, the answer was obvious. With their abilities, they had left the scene as soon as they sensed someone approaching. Only Uchiha Gen, busy with his surgery, had been caught red-handed by the Anbu.
Seeing Uchiha Gen's woeful expression, Hashirama didn't know whether to laugh or cry. "What were you doing?"
If it was just an eye transplant, Konoha's medical services could actually handle that too.
