Outside, at some unknown time, a towering black tower had appeared out of thin air in the once-empty Land of Fire. Even calling it a colossal object seemed inadequate, because the thing practically covered an entire continent!!!
If anyone were to ask who was the most anxious person in the Ninja World right now, it would undoubtedly be Black Zetsu.
He had painstakingly plotted in the Ninja World for over a century. Just when the "fruit" was about to ripen, the "fruit tree" had inexplicably vanished. Anyone would have been furious. More importantly, although he could continue lying low, if he missed this opportunity, no one knew when the next one would come.
After the ninja the other villages had previously sent in disappeared without a trace, like stones sinking into water, they too fell silent upon seeing such a colossal object.
"So that's the thing they were attacking before?" Deidara sat atop the Clay Giant Bird, his face somewhat pale.
Of course, compared to the enormous thing in the distance, the so-called giant bird looked rather laughable.
Only after descending from the sky and setting foot on the ground did Deidara feel slightly relieved. After staring at that tower for too long, an inexplicable sense of panic had risen in his heart.
This abnormality made Deidara suspect that the tower might possess some kind of mental attack effect. Whether that was true or not, he silently decided that unless absolutely necessary, he would never go near that damned thing.
It was not just the ominous feeling emanating from the tower. Judging solely by its pitch-black exterior, the thing did not look like anything "good."
With a slight movement of his fingers, a clay bird vividly appeared in Deidara's palm. He placed
