Blue Star Quotas

Starry Sky University grants developing martial-civilization planets protected admission quotas so they are not forced to compete immediately against mature interstellar civilizations. Blue Star initially receives 3,000 slots annually. 136

Blue Star’s quota does not guarantee graduation. New students face assessments every six months, and failure of a single assessment can result in being sent back; historically, only around 500 of Blue Star’s 3,000 annual entrants remained. 254

Twenty years before Chen Lie's enrollment, only a few dozen of Blue Star's 3,000 entrants successfully graduated, and more than 95% were eliminated during their first half-year. Graduation numbers gradually improved as Blue Star's martial arts developed over the following decade. 393

Every campus has facilities selling cultivation resources and techniques, with the Heaven-grade campuses and Central Campus offering the most comprehensive selections. Heaven Second Campus's Martial Arts Market Street also sells cultivation methods, martial techniques, weapon-forging materials, and finished weapons suited to True Qi Stage students. 520 545

Blood Origin Realm

The Blood Origin Realm houses Blood Origin Crystals used to improve Blood-Qi Stage students' Strength Values. Each student may use the crystals twice per month, with a maximum of ten sessions in total; repeated sessions provide diminishing gains. Transmission Pavilion

The Transmission Pavilion provides Qi Gong cultivation methods for students advancing to Ranked Martial Artists. Otherworldly Demon Hunting Ground

The Otherworldly Demon Hunting Ground is used for practical trials. Students enter through a Light-Shadow Mirror and are assigned to numbered groups with demon-killing quotas. Qian Long links Chen Lie's and Tao Yunshu's Communication Bracelets before assigning them to Trial Group No. 32 in Longwind Canyon. 550

Adding the two newcomers raises that group's quota from 450 demons, including thirty Tier 3 demons, to 750 demons, including ninety Tier 3 demons. Students are warned about powerful demons and encounters with other groups. 550

Dual-Origin Secret Realms

Starry Sky University is said to possess seven or eight Dual-Origin Secret Realms containing Spirit Jade. Spirit Jade supports Origin Qi cultivation, helps students pursue Five Qi Converging at the Origin, and later assists cultivation of the five great Divine Treasuries. 586

Campus Affairs Resource Office

Identity fraud is not limited to individual criminals. A Taiping Sect disciple previously murdered a Great Yan Dynasty applicant from Red Flame Planet and remained undetected at the university for over a year. Star Bandit organizations also place impostors in the university, sometimes selecting victims years in advance and altering the substitute's bones and appearance. 510

Home-Planet Subsidies

Blue Star provides financial support to help its students survive the university's early elimination rounds. Its published subsidy schedule distinguishes ordinary entrants, Super Genius Class external students, and Blood Qi Ranking members. 374
