Nature and Cultivation

• Mental Power is perceived and used through Divine Sense, humanity's sealed sixth sense alongside touch, smell, hearing, sight, and taste. Only those whose Divine Sense has been awakened can perceive Mental Power or qualify to become Divine Sense Masters. 191
• A cultivator's Mental Power is housed in a Consciousness Sea World, which supplies endurance during combat. Its true quality depends less on sheer size than on whether it can refine a powerful Consciousness Spirit. 184

• Jing Wood Tapir — The first Star God. It sharpens Mental Power and can amplify Mental Power attacks by over thirty times; Chen Lie used it to incapacitate multiple Otherworldly Demons simultaneously. 469 535
• Gui Gold Sheep — The second Star God. It creates a mental environment capable of trapping opponents, and its warning can help expose mental illusions. 349 404
• Liu Earth Musk Deer — The third Star God. It governs devouring and can digest foreign Mental Power, though Chen Lie had not yet reached the level required to cultivate it after entering Tier Two. 404

Applications and Limits

Psionic Crystal Cards

• Mental Power can inscribe martial arts into Psionic Crystal Cards, allowing users to experience a technique from a first-person perspective and grasp it rapidly. 6
• A card's stored Mental Power generally supports three to five uses. 6
• Creating a genuine card requires empowering a blank crystal card with Mental Power; this empowerment is the most valuable part of production. 28

Mental Attacks

• Mental Power can strike an opponent's consciousness directly, producing pain, dizziness, unconsciousness, or disruption without needing to overcome physical armor first. 228 535
• Against low-intelligence Exotic Beasts, Chen Lie can use Mental Power Impact to knock out multiple Tier One beasts or kill Tier Two beasts; stronger targets require greater expenditure and control. 261 264
• Mental attacks can bypass the hardened defenses of Otherworldly Demons and create openings for physical attackers. 535
• Repeated or full-strength use is not limitless: it consumes Mental Power, and backlash from a clash can weaken the user afterward. 264 350

Mental Control and Illusions

• Remote control is possible when Mental Power reaches sufficient intensity, but an unranked user requires the target's prior consent and cooperation; resistance immediately breaks the control. 223
• Mental illusions can obscure senses and cause targets to lose themselves. Gui Gold Sheep's mental environment can threaten Blood-Qi Transforming into Rainbow cultivators and potentially affect Heaven Aperture experts if arranged under the right conditions. 404
• Mental attacks can be delivered remotely and discreetly enough that even a Martial Arts Grandmaster may fail to detect the fluctuations. 539 540

Mental Power Restrictions

• Mental Power Restrictions are seals placed on objects such as Psionic Crystal Cards. Breaking them is a test of manipulation techniques rather than brute Mental Power alone. 180
• Chen Lie can identify flaws in restrictions and bypass seals that others cannot, including a restriction set by a Divine Sense Grandmaster on the Black Prayer Beads. 181 183

Grandmaster-Level Manifestation

• At the Divine Sense Grandmaster level, Mental Power can manifest into substance and allow the user's will to intervene in reality. 75
