That evening, news that Dark Night Manor was recruiting guards quickly spread through the only tavern in Red Maple Town.
Dark Night Manor was already renowned throughout North Shire. Whether it was the Moonlight Wine produced there or the rumors of the manor's owner being a powerful mage, both were favorite topics among commoner Adventurers.
Now that the manor was not only recruiting guards but also offering generous treatment, many Adventurers struggling to make ends meet were thrilled. Even some Adventurers with a certain degree of fame and strength in the surrounding circles showed great interest.
To commoners, nobles were already figures far beyond their reach. A noble who was also a mage was someone they had never encountered before. This might be an excellent opportunity.
