Yan Shaozhe is the Dean of Shrek Academy's Martial Soul Department and Ma Xiaotao's teacher. Upon meeting Lin Feng, he identifies Lin Feng as a Twin Martial Soul holder and immediately offers to accept him as a personal disciple; Lin Feng agrees. 5

He proposes the Ultimate Soldier Project, seeking to concentrate Shrek's resources on developing the two exceptional disciples. 24

Yan Shaozhe later agrees to end his master-disciple relationship with Lin Feng as the condition for Lin Feng to devour Xian Lin'er's Cyan Gale Dragon Flame.
