Crash-Landing on Amphoreus Right After Arriving

The footage on the Sky Screen continued playing.

So she picked up the luggage and packed it again.

Once Stelle had finally finished packing, she headed to the carriage.

She found a seat and obediently sat down, looking fairly well-behaved.

Just then, Pom-Pom's voice rang out through the train:

"Attention, passengers—The train is about to warp—Please sit tight and hold on, pom—"

Stelle immediately straightened up, sat properly, and obediently closed her eyes.

At that moment, the train was parked beside Penacony's Reverie Hotel.

The massive train transformed into a silver meteor and vanished from Penacony's starry sky.

When it appeared again, it was beneath another stretch of stars.

The enormous Reverie Hotel had vanished without a trace.

It was as though the train had shed a layer of outerwear, losing its original blue glow as it quietly came to rest in this seemingly empty expanse of space.

Stelle walked to the window with a puzzled expression.

Whether it was her or the audience watching the Sky Screen, everyone was a little dumbfounded—there truly was nothing here.

Though scattered starlight could still be seen in the distance, there was no massive hotel like Penacony's, let alone that enormous clock above it.

Just then, a mysterious veiled woman—Black Swan—slowly walked over.

As she approached, she softly said to Stelle:

"There's nothing here. Confused?"

With a gentle smile, she slowly floated toward the window.

Her hand rested against the glass as she turned back, giving Stelle a smiling look.

Her hand seemed to contain some kind of magic, radiating brilliant multicolored light as though it were parting a veil of mist.

"The answer lies hidden among the stars."

As soon as she finished speaking, a beautiful and dazzling celestial body appeared before Stelle's eyes, leaving her utterly stunned.

"Look. This is that isolated world, a world that can only be reflected by the Mirror of the Garden of Recollection..."

"'Land of Eternity, Amphoreus.'"

Stelle's eyes widened as she cried out:

"Oh my God—an '8'!"

Indeed, the outline of the world outside looked like a number eight lying flat.

The moment Stelle said that, many of the people seriously watching the Sky Screen's story spat out mouthfuls of water, nearly laughing themselves breathless.

Before Stelle could get a clear look at her surroundings, a spear suddenly tore through the air from afar.

Wrapped in fierce gusts of wind, the spear pierced straight through the train carriage.

Raging flames immediately erupted inside the carriage.

The entire carriage lost control and plunged rapidly toward the ground below.

Then came a deafening bang.

The train crashed heavily onto the hard ground.

Raging flames still burned within the shattered carriage.

Stelle lay amid the wreckage, completely without breath, unconscious.
