Before the main events, she attempted to advance to Dou Zong but failed and was injured, leaving her recuperating for roughly half a year. During this period, she dreamed of discovering the Green Lotus Core Flame, evolving into the Seven-Colored Heaven Swallowing Python, and becoming entangled with Xiao Yan. 84

Treating the dream as a possible warning of the future, Medusa secretly seized the Green Lotus Core Flame years earlier than the dream suggested.
